War Ant: Cheap meatshield, can be additionally called via drop down ability. It's armed with shock lasers.
Slasher: Heavy infantry with high rof. It's good vs infantry and light/medium vehicles. Armed with shock discs.
Locust: Heavy infantry with slow rof. It's Ichor nailgun can additionally target aircraft and pierce throught armor with ease.
Corruptor: Heavy crowd controlling support unit. It can heal friendly Scrin units by attacking them and can turn enemy non scrin infantry into corrupted visceroids (additionaly friendly humans can be turned into Visceroids too). Those Visceroids can be controlled and also can spread more smaller infected Visceroids when killing infantry.
Annihilator Tripod: Heavy walker tank armed with 3 lasers. Laser adopt type when the unit is standing on Ichor (green, blue, red, purple). Corruptor and Tripod both act as heavy vehicle which can crush medium or smaller vehicles.
Eradicator Hexapod: Epic unit of Scrin. More details to be revealed later.
Scrin gameplay is a bit different compared to the base factions.
#1 All units heal in Ichor/Tiberium (exept air).
#2 No Ichor/Tiberium Silos are required.
#3 The Warp Portal can produce any kind of unit (infantry, vehicle, aircraft).
#4 The T3 tech center is a mobile unit which is an aircraft type (Mothership).
#5 Scrin has very early access to call abilities which allow them to expand fast.
#6 It's the only faction currently which has dedicated secondary base provider units. In CD you can only build within the base provider radius. The only buildings which provide that radius are Construction Yards, except for Scrin.
While the Warp Portal can build any unit is indeed useful, it also has disadvantages in high power requirements and costs. Also you have to build multiple ones if you want to build different kind of units. Because haveing only one portal would mean that you can't build any units if you are building a harvester as example.
The Mothership has to be called via ability which also has a cooldown, means once the ship is down you have to wait some time and can't go instant T3 again. If the enemy has a strong AA-Fighter squadron that can happen very fast.
Scrin is very dependant on support units (Corruptor) and meatshield (War Ants). If you don't take out Corruptors out quickly then you are in serious trouble. They can heal allied Scrin units. Their infantry can't stack in cells except War Ants, means the density of them is low (which makes them easy targets vs anti inf groups).
What happened to your original idea of them getting a passive income , there structures having to be built on tiberium , ect .

This here is actually "Plan C". I tried several methods for Scrin.
But some where technically not possible/working. others where overpowered, useless, broken or simple was just not fun to play with.
They still play very different, instead I also decided to add Reaper-17 and Traveler-59 as subfaction options to give Scrin some depth.
