Doing some first WIP Art for Scrin :)

Their nature in CD is mysterious and foreign.

You know, I can't help but wonder what they originally had planned for the Scrin. C&C3; afaik wasn't the original intended interpretation.

Also, I don't quite understand this limitation of only building on Tib. There's already pretty limited base expansion, this is just another way of doing the same thing. What would the benefit be? Because if the benefits aren't huge, you're literally more vulnerable because of this because in an FFA situation people would gun for you because you'll be one big Tiberium Field to harvest once you're destroyed. xD

T1 units get called via abillities, only T2/T3 gets build via a Warp Portal.

Scrin can use veins/tiberium and manipulate lifeforms, its litterally someone playing a cancer role on the map. The bigger it gets the more painful it will get.

Veins can isolate your base from enemy cyborgs or vehicles. Tiberium Slime can slow enemies down etc, etc...

Also CD comes with custom maps which are way larger compared to vanilla TS ones (which in fact do NOT suit CD at all and are not recommend).

I think it was supposed to be a terraforming agent, originally, not just a living miner's amalgam.

Maybe give the scrin different sorts of "agitator" structures/powers that change the behaviors or types of tiberium in designated areas. Of course, they should always be removable/reversible, unless they're potentially beneficial to everyone.

sounds really good! the Forgotten should be able to fuse their bases with tiberium as well

Looks supper cool , and i like the idea of tiberium dependence .

Also could you consider giving them a tiberium laced meteor that can spread tiberium . Such an ability could have lots of uses from base expansion to assisting your ally in multiplayer games , and if there are tiberium based abilities such as the catalyst missile form C&C 3 then the possibilities for such abilities increase .

Description

The Scrin Conyard generates a basic income for the player. It also spawns Tiberium around it.

Most Scrin buildings have to be placed on Tiberium fields. Scrin theirself have no harvesters or refineries, they instead place control towers on Tiberium Trees or crystalls which then boost the income and as a bonus increase the groth rate of the occupied trees. That area can then be used to place new buildings and to expand.
