Hello there. Welcome to the article about Carnivores Clathrate. In this article we are going to showcase the updates and current state of Carnivores Clathrate, so let's get started.
What is Carnivores Clathrate?
Carnivores Clathrate (formally Carnivores Cenozoic) is a mod that takes place in the Eemian sector, which is located in the North of planet FMM-UV 32. After a devasting spring flood wiped out most of the wild-life, Dinohunt Corp. closed the sector, so the wild-life can recover. After the wild-life mostly recovered, Dinohunt Corp. opened the sector for hunting.
What happened to the previous stuff here and why the rebrand?
Right now, I'm redoing it, since I'm not happy on how I made this mod an Asset Flipper mod and it doesn't represent what I can do, so I'm redoing everything, except for some of Poharex creatures.
The reason why rebranded Cenozoic into Clathrate is because Cenozoic is associated with this mod's asset flipper past
Updates/Current state
Right now I'm redoing basically everything, from the creatures, weapons, and maps.

Creatures
I'm going to redo every creature in this mod because the old models and textures were dog shit, so I'll be redoing it. I will be rigging the creatures and Oakey will be animating them.

Haven't started on the weapons, but I have the weapon roster so far. btw they might change in the future.

These aren't the order there be in when the mod releases. Also looking for people who know how to make weapons.
Maps
Nocdemental will be making the first map. The first map will be a cold desert which will be in the 1st version and the other maps will be a savannah and jungle maps, which are coming in the 2nd and 3rd versions of the mod.
MEE
Carnivores Clathrate will be using version 1.0.6 of the MEE.
Release date?
There won't be a specific date cause when developing the asset flipper versions it created more pressure if I set a specific date, so it will be released when its ready.
After release
After the release of Carnivore Clathrate, I will continue to update the mod by adding new creatures and fixing some issues.

Hey akira just like to ask what gotten you into carnivores and what do you like about it
I gotten into Carnivores when I was about 5 or 6 and played the mobile ports cause they had dinosaurs in it. There's a lot of things I like about Carnivores, its fun to play, its easy to mod, and the community is pretty nice.

Not much progress for Clathrate. Right now I'm working on an addon and taking a break from Clathrate. There will be horror elements in the mod.

When will this mod be released?
It will be released when its ready. Right now I'm aiming for a May to June release, but that is subject to change.

I have removed the two asset flipper versions of Cenozoic due to them not representing the current state of Cenozoic.
Hello everyone, so I will be redoing Cenozoic with new weapons, maps, and new custom creatures to hunt. Which explains the transformation of the page, so I hope you like the new approach.
what kind of maps do you have in mind? I'd suggest something like plains and grazelands and stuff like that, but I like the way the change looks.
Right now, I'm focusing on the creatures, but I had somethings in mind, like a map known for its cave bear caves and stuff like that. I will keep your suggestions in mind.
