Post Post subject: Carball Version 2.6 Released
The Carball Dev Team is pleased to announce the release of Version 2.6.
Version 2.6 of Carball has been in development for over a year now, and as such is by far the most complete version of Carball ever to be released. Due to the many changes that were included in this release, it went through our longest ever beta testing period, a full five months. We would like to thank everyone who helped beta test 2.6, your time and feedback are greatly appreciated.
Please note that v2.6 has Carball specific binds for selecting the Next and Previous power-ups which can be bound through the standard control configuration screen. The Alt-Fire bind now activates the alternate fire mode for any pickup you have selected unless you are playing on a server without Alt-Fire enabled.

This is just a small sampling of what 2.6 includes:
New Vehicles
Spectre & Bullitt
Added Alt-fire modes for all Powerups
Nitro - Super Jump; Alt-Fire gives you an upwards boost
Rocket - Homing rocket that you can aim using a cursor.
Flip Mine - Fires "sticky" mines that stick to the ball or vehicle, and must be triggered again to explode.
Goo - SPMA Style Forward Launcher - Distance is set with a charge bar
Invis - Spy on other players items for 30 seconds.
Nuke - A "mini-nuke" that can be dropped behind for 1/2 primary fire damage.
Spider Mine - Locks onto the ball only, not other players.
New Maps
Carball Stadium: A brand new Stadium, created especially for this release. The previous Stadium is still available.
GHZ: Green Hill Zone, a Sonic themed map
Mario: A Mario themed map
Midnight Meadow: A map set in a dark meadow
New Mutators
Carball Arena: Changes all pickups in the map to the selected item
Invis Mutator: Changes Invis primary fire to the same as it's secondary fire
No Alternate Fire Weapons - Disables the Carball alternate fire mode on all pickups.
New Powerup
Repulse Field: Repulses the ball - and to a lesser degree, other vehicles - for a short time; Alt fire: Electronic Shock weapon that disables a vehicle for 5 seconds
Other Miscellaneous Enhancements
Added 4 new skins - Including cell shaded skins
Added 2 new loading screens
Added 3 new license plates
Added 3 new wheels
