Will you add long-rifles? Like accurate and powerful out to long ranges, but much slower to reload than a musket?

Interesting idea, I'll have to consider it, though I do want to keep things pre-1700s.

Any other ideas?

Cannons for use in sieges? It'll be hard. And this is probably a little to much to ask for. But the cannon's could add to the ease of sieging castles or towns. Balance could be made with extremely limited ammo.

That's far too hard to script!

I've finally decided to add new factions, maybe you'd like to suggest a faction of your own? Tell me their name and what culture they're based off of, then give me a short list of troops to make, and choose a banner from the native ones.

I'll probably make a thread just for this topic, so wait until it is up before posting some suggestions.

Double Muskets? Powerful and long and very heavy version of the musket. Perhaps double the damage but if you can slow the reload process down.

Double barrel muskets? I can probably do that, sounds easy enough.

Actually double muskets were not double barreled muskets but rather a very large and powerful single barreled musket. The term double meant double the range or double the damage. So I was suggesting a powerful slow loading single barreled musket. I guess the model would be a lengthened flintlock musket with a slower speed rating (I think this effects reload time, I'm not sure). Double muskets evolved in to the lighter and shorter flintlock musket I believe. Double muskets were commonly over 5 feet long and weighed 20 pounds on average.

Ah damn, I've gone ahead and put together a double barrelled musket. The musket you described fits the description of the the Swadian Musket, which has a very long barrel.

What does the damage look like on the Swadian Musket?

100 damage, which is a one-hit-kill on most low tier troops.

I guess it reminds me of the double musket but the damage should be higher. Just my opinion

Cailletoque Musket, made of wootz steel capable of taking in more powder and exerting more damage than Western Muskets. Maybe 155 piercing damage. Callietoque muskets are heavy and long. Ignores armor completely. All high tier musketeers use this musket the rest use shorter normal matchlocks.
Ajitagniad Saber, made of wootz steel stronger than normal steel saber, 39 cutting damage, one handed.
Ajitagniad Mace, made of wootz steel, same damage but deals piercing damage, two handed.
Ajitagniad Barchhah, made of entire wootz steel and is a long 5 meter long pike, 37 piercing damage.
