Call of Pripyat Variation Mod is a personnel project of mine, it touches on the idea that not every S.T.A.L.K.E.R. should wear the same outfit color,type, style. New models and textures are being added every day and eventually mutants as well! Call of Pripyat Variation Mod is meant to be used as a base for any other mod, the mod easily adds hundreds of new meshes for all to see! (344 to be exact).

Just some pictures from the latest version.
Very sexy Merc suits.
Do you plan on adding a suit like Strelok's? I'd imagine it'd be pretty common, being the basis for the SEVA and every faction variant of it, and Bandits already use it with their trench coats on top.
But... they aren't Merc suits..
Also.. Strelok IS wearing a Seva suit, he just doesn't have the helmet on.
And to be honest, that would defeat the purpose of the suit. (The bandits don't know this! Shhhh!) Anyone going without the screen helm is just crazy!
Yeah I realised they aren't merc suits after I posted, just that the gasmask is so similar.
I know that Strelok wears the "SEVA" suit without the helmet (I don't think it's actually a SEVA), but what I mean is that that suit should be used by other Loners/etc. as well. I mean, if Freedom and Duty each have a suit of the same pattern (different colours of course), it probably came from the standard suit, so why not? Does what I'm saying make sense?
It's the same gas mask, the M40.

So technically, the loners already use the suit.
I can see what you're getting at, and it's an interesting idea, though, not practical in the slightest, worse durability and protection than the Sunrise except vs anomalies. One fire fight and that's gone too. So loners wearing one without a helm would just be throwing themselves to their deaths. Also, the Duty and Freedom variants are NOT the same. They share the same vest, but the actual suit underneath is completely different.
It's a real shame, In Shadow of Chernobyl the Seva was only beaten or matched by the Ecologists green Seva and the Duty Seva, In Clear Sky it was the best all-rounder in the Zone, In COP it got nerfed losing it's protective properties for fire-fights and it's night vision making it an unwanted necessity for the underpass trip. How the mighty have fallen. :(
