Call of Pripyat Variation Mod is a personnel project of mine, it touches on the idea that not every S.T.A.L.K.E.R. should wear the same outfit color,type, style. New models and textures are being added every day and eventually mutants as well! Call of Pripyat Variation Mod is meant to be used as a base for any other mod, the mod easily adds hundreds of new meshes for all to see! (344 to be exact).

New W.I.P. suits for the Ecologist. (Created for Call of Chernobyl).
Very cool stuff, can't wait for Call of Chernobyl to come out.
Interesting idea, but will they be available to the player? And why would there be different colours anyway?
The colors are just for variation of the ecologist, currently looking at ways to liven them up because as of now they're very much lacking in the variation department. No, these suits are not available to the player.
Why is there orange and green in vanilla SHOC?
Orange is the basic model while the green was for the guards who protected the scientists in the field and they had more armour.
There could simply be more specialized versions, for example the blue could have improved electric resistance, There could also be a silver version that's that colour because it uses a metallic based material with wired filaments designed to create a barrier against PSI emissions. In the zone anythings possible and you can easily come up with reasons for something that's outside the norm. Another reason could be that each version is faction specific, What about Clear sky, They had a strong scientific interest in the zone along with there own scientific teams so I would of expected them to have there own version of a Seva like they did there other suits and blue was there colour.
The two suit in question are the SSP-99 Suit (Orange) and the SSP-99M Suit (Green). The SSP-99M Suit is more so for expert Ecologist/Guards and the spawning reflects this in Call of Chernobyl. Also a quick note is that the blue, yellow, and white are based off the SSP-99 Suit while the light brown is based off the SSP-99M Suit.
As for different resistances along with being suits in Call of Chernobyl that is completely up to Bangalore. I'm just a dumb skinner that makes texture/edits to add variation! :)
