Portable MG42s will appear as the 2nd SS Division's special weapon. I've managed to add it in the game without replacing the StG.44. German combat doctrine had the riflemen in a support role, with Machine gunners as part of nearly every fireteam, which was the opposite of Allied combat doctrine.
very good will we be aloud to pick up mg 42s as well? or perhaps even deploy them?
I've heard the B2F mod is working on something such as being able to make a portable MG42 static, maybe I'll ask them and see what they have.
