Call of Chernobyl is a free-play sandbox mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Call of Pripyat created by TeamEPIC. Description

A simple mod that gets rid of NPC automatic identification frames and ID sounds. - Removes NPC identification frames - Points found_snd and catch_snd IN w_binoc.ltx to an empty soundfile. Now you actually have to look for the things trying to kill you, STALKER.

Set "vis_frame_speed = 0" to disable the brackets/frames.
I also set "found_snd" and "catch_snd = weapons\no_sound" to remove the beeps.
p.s. setting "snd_zoomin" and "snd_zoomout = weapons\no_sound" will remove the whirring noise, if you want.

This seems broken. All of the references to the word "binocular" in the wep_binoc.ltx file were changed to "binoc" for some reason, which made it not work.

If you want to make it silent, just erase "catch_snd = detectors\DA-2_beep1" from w_binoc.ltx.
