If you could do stuff like this in StarCraft then I don't know whats stopping people from making a TC to Command & Conquer or Red Alert. ;D (Other then lazyness of course)
I don't know if this is entirely necessary though. It could get rid of half of the defenders advantage when being attacked; I think each side should get a basic static defense that's pretty weak if this is to be added. Like maybe the Predition Turret.
Edit: Oh, Nevermind! I see that you can upgrade an individual Bunker with a Shrike Turret. That might be good enough.
I guess these guys can make a mod for RA2-YR with custom exe-patch even faster than PPM community with their Ares patch.

I think that full damage to the bunker units will be too much.. maybe half of the damage to the units inside??
no, that firebat is full upgraded.
