Bubblegum Crisis Online (hereafter referred to as BGCO) is the idea of a game technically based on the Unreal Tournament 2004 engine, and thematically based on the classic anime series Bubblegum Crisis. The people working on this game are all Bubblegum Crisis (BGC) fans and we want to see our favourite Japanese animated series being played on the PC in a game that is as exciting and spectacular as the series itself. In the past, there have been numerous BGC games available to the public, starting with official games like Crime Wave (an RPG for an old computer system) and ending with the well-known Duke Nukem 3D modification series Bubblegum Crisis Nukem where you could play any of the four main characters on Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, and Redneck Rampage, and experience the original games as new BGC-related adventures with changed story, animations, textures, weapons and sound.
However, none of these games is up to date anymore and our goal is to make a full game with a complete recreation of BGC's anime world, characters, tech and action. And since this game is supposed to be an online action adventure, using UT2004's engine as the base for development was the ideal choice.

We have made a little demo to test our own capabilities since none of the team members are professionals. I'm leading the project since I came up with the idea and I've always dreamed of making my own PC game, however my experience with programming and mapping is not terrific (quite good, but not professional either) and we do have a lot of artists in our team, but people with the technical understanding of the Unreal engine and especially Unrealscript programmers are still missing. This is why we didn't get any further than the demo, which was still based on classic UT (before we switched to the UT2004 engine because it made programming easier), and we need some talents to help us doing ground work for the full game. You can look at "Talents We Look For" to see what people we currently need. But first, let's see what the game is all about!

This was emailed to me this morning after just waking up...

Attempt? I plainly emailed you about it and Maverick on it Several times in a attempt to get your attention and discuss this. Stealing? no this was doneso you wouldn't lose all the work youy had done already. But if you wish to be nasty about it and start throwing idle threats around thats fine. I'll take it down. but do you Dare ever try to threaten me with internet drama like saying "You risk the safety of your work and "health"." What were you going to do? Send a Virtual Lawyer at me? Get over it. I was trying to help since The Crisis Center Closed its doors and its forums to you, I thought I would be nice enough to register BGCO in Your NAME I had "only" adopted it at moddb.com I even went as far as creating a Subforum so you guys could keep working on it. I didn't take ownership of BGCO in anyway shape or form. You'd have noticed that if you read the moddb rules on registering a mod. BUT Hey its your funeral. with a Attitude like yours I know I wouldn't want to work for you treating someone like this. Only had the best interest for the mod. But you wanna quit? Quit. I hereby Renounce any Claim to helping BGCO Related or Otherwise it seems That MadMax wishs not to Cont. the Work on BGCO and I was wrong in wanting to save this seemingly worthwhile project. Which is sad, that something like a lack of communication can do to someone. But Again as he wishes.

I hope this will quelch any further attempts to bother my person/family privately or publicly again. Making Idle threats are so childish.

Do you have ANY idea why I REALLY quit BGCO? Tell you what? NO, you don't. So shut up. BGCO is MINE and you can screw your hints somewhere I don't see them.
And if you had looked a little closer, you might have seen that most of your "suggestions" ARE in motion. We don't need your help, thankyouverymuch. And now remove that mod before I get really angry.

Oh, and if you attack Blue Confusion once more, I swear to god you'll pay.

The purpose of adopting a mod is one where, you can maintain its moddb listing until the real mod leader wishes to get control of it. As the real mod leader wanted this mod archived, it shall be for the time been.

I'd also like to give an update to those here that are interested in the BGCO aka Bubblegum Crisis online. The Mod itself may seem dead at the moment that Thecrisiscenter.net fell dead and closed their doors inc'ing BGCO's hosted forums. I saw fit to take it upon myself to register BGCO at moddb.com I could not standby and see all the hard work that was placed into this project fall as well. The two members that were left of the BGCO still have their site Silverball-magic.com and the moddb link would be Moddb.com

He accused me of stealing his mod where it blantaly says check here if you are adopting a mod but are not a Team Member or Lead. funny indeed and I keep getting threat letters from him even after the fact of posting the mod is dead announcment.

Having Recieved a rather Nasty and Rude letter from The BGCO Team Lead. MadMax. He wishes to have the MOD as inactive or Dead.
As to The Request. I have Fufilled that Request. DO not bother taking a Intrest in it nor contact me about it in anyway shape or form. If you have Questions you can use the News Announcement on it to get Mr. MadMax's Email and email him yourself. Again this is from his mouth =not= mine.
Sorry to have such a Mod go to the wayside.
