A pack with small optional patches to modify Brutal Doom experience to better fit some players' tastes. This file can get updated constantly, so, keep an eye on it.
Version 2 includes:
BDMutator_DannyGloverOriginalFuckYourself: Replaces the taunt sound with the original one used on early versions.
BDMutator_v16zombiesounds: Restores the advanced zombie sounds from v0.16
BDMutator_noscreeneffects: This mutator is made for people that complains about the blood and cracks on screen. This mutator removes all kind of effects that can spawn in the player's hud (Blood splashes, bullet holes, scratches, damage bloody screen etc.)
BDMutator_noreloadsV2: This mutator is made for people that says the reloading in Brutal Doom slows down the pace of the game. With this mutator, the weapons will no longer need to reload.
V2 fixes a bug in V1 of rocket launcher not working properly. Dont use the older version.
BDMutator_RestoreInvisibilityPowerup.pk3 restores the Invisibility Spheres of the original game, that were replaced by Rescuable Marines in Brutal Doom
BDMutator_PistolForBrutalDoomV2.pk3 was made by popular request. It replaces the starting Assault Rifle by a Pistol. The pistol can't aim down the sights, and needs to reload every 15 shoots, but it can fire as much fast as the player can press the trigger, and has a great accuracy.
BDMutator_SimpleWeapons.pk3 will make a more vanila-ish weapon settings. It removes alt attacks from all weapons (iron sights, minigun spin, plasma shotgun, etc.), it removes the MP40 dropped from Nazis, and weapons will not need to reload anymore. The Player will also move faster.
BDMutator_EasyMonsters.pk3 will stop monsters from using their new attacks (Baron of Hell's triple ball attack, Imp's pounce attack, Zombieman's continuous fire, etc.)
BDMutator_Noflares.pk3 will remove all flares and glow effects. I personally enjoy them and I think they make many effects look nice, but if you don't like them, or your GPU has problems to render them, use this.

When I played version 0.16 of BrutalDoom one of the offensive taunts I miss from version 0.16 is the "**** You *******" taunt its not in version 0.17 can that offensive taunt be added to the BD Mutators pack in the next updated version?

Would it be possible to make a performance mutator, disabling the cpu-demanding aspects of Brutal Doom and leaving the core gameplay? Unfortunately, the game gets totally unplayable for me in levels with many monsters. I had to stop playing Scythe 2 at level 24 because of this :-(.
I tried disabling dynamic lights and other stuff at ZDoom (Skulltag seems even slower), which helped me at level 23, but now it seems there's no tweaking at the menu that will help me.
And let me also thank you for giving us all Brutal Doom. Your mod shines.

I seem to be having a problem with the mutators, i am using the easymonsters one brutal doomv17 on zandronum. It plays fine to begin with but it when i next play brutal doom i keep getting this

I then have to delete all mutators and brutal doom, then reninstall it, it works fine until i quit the game, i then tried to play it to day and it always brings that up no matter what i do now.
I also made a modification to the pistol plugin which re-adds the original rifle and adds a different sound to the pistol.
The riflemen will randomly drop a rifle (25/255% base chance)

Try making a shortcut and getting the load order set up so that Brutal Doom is loaded first and after that the BD Mutator(s).

I got a request....
So new brutal doom has been released 0.18...and the assault rifle now has huge sights that takes over the screen, possibly to make it differ to the shotgun ADS more but i don't like it, i miss the 0.17 assault rifle but i want the benefit of v0.18 new deaths etc.

is there a Mutator that stop the surge (quaks) of the screen when i fire a weapon??? , it is a lot when you firing a heavy weapon like minigun or rocket luncher.
I have a request. Can you make a mutator that makes game playable with only keyboard without the help of mouse? Just let weapons autoaim back and remove headshot feature. Please, my dad is an old guy and he cant handle the mouse + keyboard at the same time, and he really loves Doom and I want to play Brutal Doom Coop with him.
