The ripper chaingun straight from Duke Nukem 3D - now improved, badder and better than before! Slot 4, sometimes replaces the minigun.
The ripper is probably everyone's favourite gun from Duke Nukem 3D. That's why it'd be a wonderful addition to your already big selection of guns!
How 2 use it?
The gun behaves similary to the minigun. Just press and hold the fire button to make it fire. It shares its ammo with the minigun.
By pressing the dual wield key you can switch the way it fires. There's DN3D's firing pattern and DNF''s fire pattern. They fire just as fast and still deal the same damage, it's mostly cosmetic.
How 2 load it?
Unzip it and load the .pk3 file after Brutal Doom v21.
It is only guaranteed to work with vanilla Brutal Doom v21 and my personalized addon. COMPABILITY WITH OTHER ADDONS/MODS IS NOT GUARANTEED!

What are the changes?
Minor sound changes, new sprites and animations, brightmaps, does a lil more damage and added and alternative fire mode.

It'd be kind of boring, it's just a rocket launcher that doesn't need to be reloaded.
The selection sound for this weapon is very heavy and causes the game to freeze for about 2 seconds when you switch to it when first starting up the game. Is there any way you could lower the selection sound volume in the file or maybe just change it to a standard selection sound like the minigun has and resend the file to me? It’s not a huge issue but one that I have noticed that is quite bothersome when I am trying to record a smooth gameplay video. Let me know if you could help with this problem. Thank you!
