Ever got sick of Doom Metal and ever got sick of just music packs that contained techno, and now you want a taste of both? Here's your best bet. Filled with dark and super crazy metal, and some techno remixes that make the game sound better. Stuffed with music from other games, this is something worth trying.

Well, I decided to make this... I've kinda took a way too long break from Brutal Doom v19 Derp Edition... And now, I decided to upload a Music WAD that I personally use (for some reason). A bunch of OCRemixes and others that have made metal remixes... That's what this WAD contains.

I got kinda sick of Doom Metal Vol4 (well, I liked some parts but still...) and got tired of using the Enhanced Doom Music. So why not combine both of them together? And the result:

More metal than Enhanced Stuff.

Oh... Well then. Hope you guys enjoy this music WAD I made.

yeah, you have included the shouting .pk3 on it; love it, but in BD Derp Edition, there are more moans on zombies. One of them is my fav (I think the Quad Shotgun Guy every time he sees you, or the single Shotgun Guy; not sure now) a kind of squeal, but it is not here.
Curiously, I was about to ask you about that pk3, and you've read my mind LOL

It wasn't really the "shouting pk3". It's a mutator that I use for Brutal Doom and Vanilla Doom. Have you heard of Trent Renzor? I think in the Doom 3 Beta, the sounds for the commandos are in this mutator. Plus not to mention that I also got sounds from v016b of Brutal Doom. The radio stuff and the Doom 3 Sounds for the enemies made it a great experience with Quaker's Addon. What I find really annoying about Quaker's Addon is that he's been using the Doom 3 Imp Pain Sound for the imps and the rest of the sounds for the imps are just Vanilla Sounds. That's kinda why I made this mutator. Derp Edition does have Zombie Squaling sounds from Insanity's Requiem v2.7. The imps in Tiberiumsoul's mod have them. And the other enemies, which include the hell trooper and the Strogg Revenant, those were from Quake 4 (oh crap. Now I have to ask where in the world Tiberiumsoul got the sounds for the Strogg Gunner for Beta 1.2 of TiberiumDoom. Those were the sounds from the hell trooper, and I think it's in the Quake 4 PK4 file, but I don't know where).

ohh, ok thanks for that info. I have a mutator that I've downloaded last month but never use it and ,as you say, it comes with v16 shouting but the imps pain is the default sound. It also brings a pistol, but the HUD I use does not show available ammo. I am discovering all this stuff now LOL

Yeah, you are right. Insanity Requiem has the moan that I meant on my last comment. It is a pity that I can not use it in other mods. I tried but I went wrong.

regards =)

Don't worry! v3.6.7 will have the old zombie ear-raping sounds that I put in. It will be in a mutator.

hey man, the Doom 2 second map level has the same song as Doom 1 EI M3 song (I'm not sure) but doom 2 second level has the same song as one of the doom 1 map song, is it part of the mod or... (I love your mod but I just don't like the second level repeating song from Doom 1 map)

Oh, and guyz, you'll notice that the Doom 1 and 2 remixes are in Pk3 format. You can rename the file extension to .wad. Okay... What I mean is, rename ".pk3" to ".wad". It still works fine.

I rated this an 8 until I got to Map 7 in Doom 2; the boss map where you fight a ton of mancubus and arachnotrons. Man, as soon as I heard the track on that map, I immediately came back and gave it a 9! The level statistic music, which is the Doom 3 title track, is awesome too! Great job with these music wads!

Thanks! Hope you love the TNT Enhanced Metal Music WAD I put in there. The Map 30 Music for the TNT Metal WAD came from the music used in Map 01 of the WAD, Solar Hell. I thought that track was perfect rather than listening to the "Into the Beast's Belly" Track 3 Times (featured in Maps 08, 27, and 30). I also forgot to put a Map 30 remix for Doom 2 (FACEPALM!!). The Next version of this addon will feature a remix for Map 30. Oh, and did you like the mutator with the Doom 3 sounds and the v16b Sounds/Trent Renzor Sounds for the zombies?

Sorry if I haven't done this before, but I forgot to give credit to other artists like Kira (oh crap...). I'm going to update the Credits Text file in the next version. Oh, and there will be a v3.7 of Derp Edition. It's going to take a while. In the meantime, have fun with the stuff here!

I have a question, Are the addons meant to work with the Brutal DOOM mod, or just vanilla DOOM?

EVERYTHING in the ZIP works perfectly with both Brutal Doom or Vanilla Doom. I thought it would sound better with Brutal Doom. But if you want to, you can run the sound mutator and the music wad with the ketchup mod. The mutator will also be removed for the next version of this. This mutator will actually be featured as a sound mutator for Derp Edition.
