This mod also works with Company of Heroes and/or Tales of Valor. Opposing Fronts is not required! There are many features that I added, for example: - a much more realistic Weapon damage system - many new skins for infantry and tanks (and wrecks) also including many of my own made tank skins - many new units for all factions - modified and enlarged Commander Trees (now 16 Upgrades!) - new abilities - new sounds - recommended new maps included

Description
REQUIRES: Company of Heroes, Opposing Fronts, Tales of Valor OR a combination of those three installed and the latest patch availible for them (f.e. v2.602 if you have OF or ToV). If you have problems with BK, please read our FAQ-Guide in the ModDB Features-Section. This v4.0 Installer does NOT require any previous versions of BK installed and it will automatically uninstall old versions. Dear BK-Community, after nearly 8 month of hard work we are pround to present you v4.00 of Blitzkrieg-MOD for Company of Heroes. We`ve split up the data load into 2 installers. One main installer without maps and an additional map installer containing all maps.

I want to thank the whole BK team for the hard work we had the last weeks and I want to thank Eliw00d, DMz, Tankdestroyer, Zeugma and burtondrummerNY for the new made models that found a way into BK. We`ve included so many changes that may lead some well used strategies to fail now. So keep your heads cool and try to match your tactics before starting blindfold whine posts!
We will initiate several developer polls about all new units to get a global evaluable feedback. These polls will start this week and we are looking forward to an active participation from all of you players. You will find these in our forums!
The direct download links will be added later this evening! Until then please use the torrent download.
HIGHLIGHTS
- fixed water bug, sync error/drop hack exploit, "teleport bug"
- total overhaul of infantry weapons; realistic magazine size, cadence etc.
- reworked many other weapons like machine guns, mortars, mines etc.
- enhanced AI (uses more abilities and units) by Mettiu
- a total of 18 new models and as a result about 20+ new units including some reward units
- a total of 40 maps via separate map pack
See the complete changelog here! Sadly we didn´t get rid of the lobby connection bug that appears for games with 4+ players. If anyone has a clue how to fix it we would appreciate every help.

My anti-virus program found a virus "Trojan" in mod with defined :(
no, there`s no Trojan! Some anti-virus programs misjudge the new installer as a Trojan but I can assure you that it`s clean ;)

my agv nicely deleted the launcher during a routine scan and now i cant play the game. hope the change was worth something.
Seriously? I didn't know someone still uses AVG. Install MSE and you'll be fine.

Yepp, I've tested it too with my SCanner, nothing found. It's just the enw installer-routine that scares uber-cautios scanners a bit. ;)

Yo. love the mobelwagen the animations are amazing,b ut can you fix the WM snipers their guns are well they look like they are toy guns, the PE sniper has the normal sniper rifle but the WM doesnt :(
This a magnificent mod, but after installing this version im getting a "fatal error" when playing the "Operation Cobra" mission.
And i cant even begin to play some missiones of the "Market Garden" campaign.
are you playing campaing on the blitz mod or vcoh ?
Blitz mod. It´s much better. I usually see the error massage when the game points the objectives in the battlefield.
I had been playing the 3.11 version and i did not have any problem.
This mod never was made to work with the campaign, that can be seen because the first British mission is impossible to complete.
Maybe, but i have been playing the American and Panzer campaigns without problems using the 3.11 version.

Doesn't matter if some campaigns work. BK was enver made for the campaigns, so some might be buggy or way to easy to complete. We don't support the campaigns, because BK is a sole MP/Skirmish mod.
Ok, thanks. But it´s a pity, the campaigns were much funnier using the mod.
In all cases, it´s a GREAT mod.

Hey em yesterday while i was playing and my Tiger Tank Hit the diamer scout car and it had little Health and it only did Destroyed Engine Maybe its a Small bug .

Hey why do the wrecked wheels of the WM hanomag halftrack have pink squares around them maybe abug maybe something wrong with my settings cause ive noticed that the skins on my computer arent as pretty as the ones in the pics on this page

Im crashing all the time... I HATE IT when i crash... every dam game on Blitzkrieg 4.01
How the bloody hell do i fix this.
Thoughts on new patch. Mortars dominate. German tanks feel mediocre. AI uses arty/rockets more(anyone else notice this?) MGs suppress inf. almost instantly. The V2 Rocket on WM Terror Doc still sucks considering the munitions cost. Overall I feel fighting AI is significantly more difficult than before.

Hi all i have a problem with the BK-Mod...
Okey when i startet the game it is matter whether I play in Multiplayer or in Singleplayer at any rate after 5-10 min. then crashes the game and I can´t read the error message all the Time.
I have the operational system Vista (64-bit).

Whoops sorry I was confusing this mod with another, great mod tho so far, my only problem with it was, a tiger tank didnt destroy my sherman 105 when it was in front of him, and the 105 couldnt attack him either but it might have been because they were too close and the tiger didnt see it as a threat cuz so close..? please let me know if this theory is correct, and if the AI takes precedence over more dangerous units??
