This mod also works with Company of Heroes and/or Tales of Valor. Opposing Fronts is not required! There are many features that I added, for example: - a much more realistic Weapon damage system - many new skins for infantry and tanks (and wrecks) also including many of my own made tank skins - many new units for all factions - modified and enlarged Commander Trees (now 16 Upgrades!) - new abilities - new sounds - recommended new maps included

That would mean that this mod would'nt get as much support anymore and split the Playerbase with the only change being that the Germans now fight Russians instead of Americans/the British.

Maybe if they can convert Parts of the invested work that could be it.

Do you even know what workshop is? Workshop = Mods!
You hate steam for the workshop, where it is easy to download and update mods?
Wow, you are retarded.
And steam is not charging you for anything. Not for mods and not for DLCs
It's the publisher who decides over DLC pricing.

But the best thing is, that your reply has nothing to do with saukopfs post. It is just flaming.
He says: Perhaps no mods because of skin DLCs.
You reply: Probably with workshop integration. Steam sucks.

WTF? Do you even think, before posting ********?
And you have to sift through crap on moddb too...

I went to steam and I saw the workshop it only had 29 mods there and you can't search for specific mod. Also I am not sure how easy it is to integrate mods into steam I can see it now in the future modders will be made to pay a fee to steam to have it on or you play a mod and the steam thinks it's a hack or cheat and you lose all your games.

******** again.
There are 29 games with mod support.
There are about 400000 objects you can mod your games with.

You can search for names, categories, rankings, ...
You can favourite your mods and you can subscribe to them to get updates as soon as they are available.

And the best is that you can't get banned for mods.
For example it is no problem to mod your Torchlight 2 with a "Double XP"-Mod.

Have a nice day and don't hate on things you don't even know! thx :)

You're telling me you don't like:
1. Amazing new sales EVERY ******* WEEK?
2. Something that updates your games for you so you don't have to deal with all the ******** of installing them manually?
3. The workshop, which, again, allows you to download a mod WITH 1 ******* CLICK. I have a gmod folder that is 22 ******* gigs, guess what? most of the **** doesn't work, thanks to the workshop nobody has to deal with that **** anymore.
4. A bunch of amazing games and source mods, which are dirt cheap and have extremely flexible mod support.

I just don't understand your puny little brain... I think sheep are smarter than some of the people in this world...

P.S. I hope you like selling your old games at GS for $0.20 when you bought them for $60 because guess what? on steam you could ******* preorder most games with at least a 15% discount.

Goodbye, you have lost, my friend.

Coh doesn't support mods, and never will. due to the greedy SEGA who bought over COH 2, they want to use COH2 as their new milking cow.

It's not really possible anymore because Relic (possibly because of SEGA) disabled -dev mode in COH2 release.

They might put it back in but unlikely as SEGA has been known to patch games (such as the newer Total Wars) just to change a few small things in order to break mods.

IMHO the blitz mod is already (and was already) better than CoH2. the only real difference is the russian faction and the blizzard conditions. blitz mod already has the cammo mechanics implemented. if you ask me moving this to or making this for CoH2 would just be a waste of assets better spent on CoH.

I'm hoping that you will make a Blitzkrieg mod for COH 2. The mod doesn't need to have new vehicles jsut the DAMAGE, COH 2 sucks without the damage and needs to re-work tank armour and penetrations and the game would be sweet. You transformed COH 1 into COH 2 before the actual COH 2 game (expansion more like it)came out.

Mate,if you think you're gonna see colossal changes in the release version you're in for a shock. And the damage system is a colossal change. Betas usually serve to root out bugs and solve minor balance issues, not to rework the game. On the other hand,I don't think that the damage system in vCoH is bad,it's just different and I like the one in Blitz better
