This is like Black Mesa's companion cube, how else will Gordon get to meet Gina Cross?

I suppose I ought to give some sort of explanation before more downvotes occur, well alright. Gordon, like any other human being, has desires and it just so happens that the day Gordon saw Gina's hologram he fell in love with her, simple. Gordon's only knowledge of her existence was that hologram and in a way he bonded with it like chell bonded with the companion cube in aperture science. This bond was primarily based on Gordon's lust, which pushed him into false truths about his own masculinity. Unfortunately their paths never crossed and so our protagonist never saw Gina again. What affects did that have I hear you ask? This made Gordon shut himself in from the rest of the world and thus he remained silent forever. Maybe the need to search for the Gina inside him and his struggles in doing so is the game itself, maybe its one big methaphor. The Combine or HECU or Aliens represent the part of Gordon that keeps him silent, the part that has roots running deep into his subconsciousness while the resistance on the other hand represents a faint source of reason and his desperate need to socialize.

I feel like it still needs some more complexity inside the rotating center. Maybe if you put in some red/blue/green dots in there. Kind of like how old CRT TVs project images. The structure also needs to be a bit dirtier. The hazard course seems like a very dirty place after all.

Does Black Mesa still use such oldfashioned technologies for holograms? How Gina will be jumping with that holo-box?
