When you try to select a squad, you should click on a unit in it. So do if you wanna attack an enemy squad. It's uncomfortable because sometimes you miss and click on empty space in between of units in the squad, and it won't be selected.
In the original game even if you click on empty space between units in the squad it will be selected/attacked.

Looking forward to use walls! :D

Also in oldschool RTS if you build something near the edge of the available for building area, the area expands around that building slightly. That allows you to build large bases.

And i liked the original idea of the ring superheroes and Gollum, maybe it would be better to stick to it?

well i do not know why but my the maps are a bit too pink (actually just pink and all other colours are slightly visible)
and all the buildings, people, wild orcs,trolls etc. well i can not see them soo
any suggestions from anyone

Hi, I'd like to report an error I receive when trying to launch BFME Tactics through its Launcher:


I cannot launch the game. I wonder if it is conflicting with my present game, as I:
- have RotWk 2.02 installed (even once disabled, still get same error),
- used to have Edain mod installed, but I have uninstalled it (but pre launch pop up screen for edain still exists somehow for when I start rotwk games).

Help! I don't want to uninstall 2.02 as I play clanwars and am very active in that community, so I hope Tactics can still work with 2.02 disabled. Thanks.

I also tried going Options->Enable ShellMap but to no avail, still same error instantly.

Hi, your mod is just awesome, but I think the AI is a bit to good, mainly the easy one. The Easy AI should be for people who haven't played Bfme so long and for them its just to difficult.

This is what happens when I attempt to start the game, also, the news say "Ooops... Something is wrong. Check your internet connection"

when the Update button is pressed, this window pops up, and then the launcher displays "Ooops... Somrthing is wrong"

welcome back! I think that there is a lot of opportunity in this mod. I think something to note would be that there are no responses from staff members to the forums. There is a post back from the 2nd beta that was never responded to in this forum. I know that there are responses on the main page which is great! But no staff posting to the forums makes it seem like there is less activity, but would rather post to the main page if I know that there will be a response rather than the forum where there is no response. If you need help with that I am sure that there would be a forum member that would be more than happy to help with responding/ assisting on the forums.

stream was pretty good guys, but I have to say, maybe include some english next time? seeing is one thing but actually understanding what's being said would be great (hell, even youtube autosubtitles would make it a little better, though I have no idea how that stuff works so I understand if it's not possible)

Hello guys. I want to tell you, I believe this mod to be a state-of-the-art project. It's quality is unmatched. That said, it is kind of sad to see only Gondor and Mordor thrown into the mix. We desperately need AT LEAST Rohan and Isengard as well. Hell, it would be A LOT BETTER to see Lothlórien, Rivendell, Erebor, Angmar and Moria thrown in there, as well!

You people could take ideas from LOTR BFME II ROTWK Edain Mod! I suppose that team would not mind too much... At any rate, your work is superior, alas theirs is more volumetric. Keep up the good work! The graphics are fantastic, as well as the overall quality of the mod, you only need a bit more diversity when it comes to choosing sides, because it is looking a lot like WarCraft 1. =P And by now we are beyond WC3, where there are 4 races, not to speak of World of WarCraft, which, if taken into the RTS arena, would count it's race pool in about 10.
