Changelog:
Added Portuguese, Greek, Afghan, Khivan and Bukharan factions content - troop trees, military uniforms and weapons.
Added multiple formations available to be applied in battle. You can use them with F2 order panel. More dense formations are more vulnerable to fire but have more steady discipline level (less prone to decrease) and better melee damage. Some of formations are locked by technologies.
Improved battle AI. It is now more effective in attack, acts based on technology level, attacks more agressive and is able to use formations.
Added prone firing. Troops will prone automatically while under fire after researching Adaptive Infantry Training technology.
Added desert village scene and alternative european village scene.
In battle, when ordering multiple units to hold certain position, they will now form a line between each other around it instead of moving all in same position.
Added possibility to break alliance through secretary of state.
Added uniforms progression with technologies for some factions.
Custom troops now have 40 weapon points for each weapon proficiency at start instead of 0.
Added more custom flags.
Added possibility to set up lords maximum party size at the start of game.
Decreased reloading speed of conversion breech-loading rifles.
Decreased accuracy of rifled cannons.
Decreased chances of AI random alliance chaining and war provocations.
Added multiple sounds and animations.

Fixed bug where desert castles used European siege map.
Fixed bug where some castles belonged to people that don't exist if you start as faction leader.
Fixed bug where Serbian and Bavarian uniforms displayed incorrectly.
Fixed bug where troops got super high movement speed after multiple "Hold Position" orders.
Fixed bug where companion became half invisible after becoming lord.
Fixed bug where some villages were inaccessible.
Fixed bug where some technologies didn't have effect.
Fixed bug where French used Russian weapons.
Fixed bug where allied artillery crews charged enemy at the start of battle.

Freelancing quickly gets repetitive and boring for me
Than don't play freelancer in the game. You don't have to just because it's in the game. It's just a feature that people would want. You can clearly do anything you want.
I'm gonna have to say, freelancer is fine with alot of people including myself.
I've been trying to convince Eldar of the obvious, ever since they split from the previous mod. I can't imagine a Warband mod that would benefit from it more! There is a rumor that they took a page from Aut Caesar Aut Nihi, and are working on an improved version of Freelancer for early game. It's just a rumor though, and it is possible that it was a troll intended to break our hearts. I can't trust myself to objectively figure out if it's true. I want it to be true too badly. If everything gets polished that is being intended, it will become video game legend, and people will marvel that this came from Mount and Blade. If Freelancer is ignored, their successes will always come with an asterix,"* decided not to take advantage of Freelancer in early game..." No one's perfect
uh...the "new content in 0.7" article released earlier this month mentions a new enlistment system that is basically freelancer but better. 3rd paragraph under the "war" section.
Eldar doesn't want to include freelancer in his mod for some reasons, He already made his final decision on discord.
the problem is how hardcoded warband is compared to bannerlord

well actually, eldar implemented similar thing but ranks are from private to marshal rather than recruit to guard (exp.)

Mod is amazing....as I keep coming back to it I find myself craving larger battles and since TweakMB seems to never be getting an update any chance to raise the options for lords partis that triggers on new campaign?

Why Can't We Use Artillery While Attacking Please Let's Use Them And We Can Shoot The Cannons too, that would be perfect

though i'd add simple quality of life improvements like cattle following you and the ability to dispatch patrols and garrison villages
Siege wise it's basically trench warfare, but it doesn't make sense to dismount all the horsemen in your company for said Siege
esp when the enemy has cannons...
i think the horses being removed from sieges is inherited from native warband, so idk if they can change that
Hi creator, just reporting a slight bug.
When I come across the scenario of a village infested by bandits, every single time I got to attack the bandits, the game crashes after about 15 seconds. Everything else works fine, just attacking bandits infesting villages seems to cause crashes as far as I could tell.
Hey where are all the companions, did you remove them for the mod?
the companions are still there, you'll probably find them in some of the big cities like Rome, Berlin, Paris, London, etc., but the map is pretty big so it might take a while until you find one.
The companions aren't the native Warband companions, but instead they're 19th-century figures like Karl Marx, David Livingstone, etc. It's awesome
Karl Marx as a military man? That's pretty creative on the part of the mod creators.
One minor bug I noticed, there are some villages that are simply empty maps that everyone spawns in the middle of, elder is still there and combat can still take place just no scenery.
Aside from that this is an insanely well done mod.
Yeah, it's on purpose, those are placeholders bc they haven't made scenes for those parts of the map yet
How do I add uniforms and equipment to my nations custom troops? Or is that not implemented yet? I can only add skill points to their skills am I missing something or doing something wrong?
Hello, I'm having an issue with joining a faction as a mercenary through the quest "I promised so and so that I would hire a company of mercenaries..." I have asked several lords and no one has offered me the job. Has anyone experienced this issue?
What's the regular lord party size (the one that you choose at the beginning from 80 to 200) and your party size?
When i started my own kingdom,the technology is not worked,i researched breech loading but when i customize my army,there arent any breech loading gun,plz help and sorry for my bad english
when you're editing your troops, give them the default starting rifles (not sure what they're called, probably something like "Italian musket" or "Austrian musket", those kinds of weapons) And when you're in battle they'll automatically update to the most recent tech.

I recommend adding diplomacy and floris features to the mod. Assets are great and it seems the singleplayer campaign map, scenes, etc are just requiring attention. I look forward to checking in and seeing what else this mod has to offer.

The mod is great and super fun to play but my game crashes very often especially when I want to do a land battle. In previous versions it was the opposite, it got crashed when I wanted to go into sieges. I really want to fix this problem. Can anyone help me about that? Thank you.
Is there any way to research new tech when you start as an adventurer, I.E becoming marshal? I dont really enjoy the slow start as a faction leader and I prefer to build up to it.
No, you have to wait for other countries to research their own tech

I've downloaded both version 6 and 5 but the game gets stuck at the loading screen and says processing INI files. And I get a pop up that says "Unable to open file common res/ccoop_extra_ui_textures.brf" does anyone have a solution for this?
Probably a game version or installation error, nothing to do with the mod
Either alt+tab from the game and close that pop up. Else, if it crashes, open notepad (Word, notepad+, anything like this), open module.ini and delete the line "load_resourse (whatever is here)".

Edit:ive tried deleting the lines from the module.ini fie but it kept wanting files from the base game that didnt exist in CommonRes or modules resource.
