So the Panzer IV F2 was equipped with the pak40 anti tank gun deal with the T34 on larger distances. To raise the amount of rounds carried with the tank, the interior was changed. Finally the PIV F2 could carry 87 rounds of ammunition(HEAT, smoke, APCR, APCBC, HE) for the KwK 40 L/43.
With the high velocity gun, the Panzer IV was a serious thread to the Russian T34 and superior to all other allied tanks.
