Dear BF40K fans,
The final infantry model required to make a release: Tau XV25 Stealth is now available.
Adam has rigged it with a custom skeleton (a first for this mod) and we spent 20 minutes testing it in 2142 on Tuesday.
Adam is going to rebuild 2142 mod from scratch and put the following assets in.
Tau
Infantry Classes
Kroot, Firewarrior, Combat Engineer, Pathfinder, XV15/25
Vehicles
Piranha, Devilfish & Hammerhead (With Railgun & Burst Cannons)
Emplacement
Tau Drone Turret with Twin Linked Plasma Rifles
Imperial Guard
Infantry Classes
Guardsmen, Hardened Vet, Combat Engineer, Heavy Weapons, Kasrkin
Vehicles
Sentinel, Chimera & Leman Russ
Emplacement
Turantula with Twin Linked Heavy Bolters
We did want to have custom commander and squad leader character models but as we have no artists available to make them, we are sticking with what completed art assets we have.
All of this needs coding in for us to release.
A Manual needs to be written.
Bad news:
BF40K - BF2 will be discontinued as inaiths PC has now broken there is no-one left to continue the build.
will it be continued once his pc is fixed or is it too bad?
I don't know depends on him really.
for the IG emplacement, is it really a sentinel, or did you mean a tarantula....?

omg I have BF2142 but apparently the damn **** doesent work on Vista!!! eh...and ive been waiting for this mod in about four years now :( oh well it aint your fault. But I better go up to microsofts office and give them a bloody nose!
Adam who is coding 2142 uses vista and it works just fine. Do a google search to find the solution.
when will it be coming out, im kinda psyked.
