July 1st 2010: The sun rises over the island of Sint Maarten and another day on the island begins. On nearby Scrub Island, four years of training and preperations are finally being put to the test. Helicopter engines fire up, jets prepare for takeoff weapons are loaded and vehicles are driven onto ferry's. They are called Tigercat and they are about to start one of the most shocking wars in history...

---Vehicle Info---

The geography of Sint Maarten will make this mod centered around vehicular warfare and helicopters. Jets will most likely be seen on only one map, Operation Black Viper. Sint Maarten is not a huge island and the maps are based around actual places on the island. In the mod you can expect to see the AH-1Z and Mi-24 being the aircraft that appear the most, with ground vehicles such as the BMP-2, LAV-25, BMP-3 and more being a common friend, or foe, on the battlefield.

Operation Black Viper - July 26th 2010 - Sunrise - The First Marine Division is preparing to assault the island of Sint Maarten. Thier objective to to secure a beach head and Princess Juliana International Airport. Tigercat forces have set up defensive positions at the airport in preperation for the invasion.

Philipsburg - July 27th 2010 - Morning - Yesterday's assault by the Marines has met limited seccess. The First Marine Division has secured Princess Juliana, but with heavy losses. The Third Marine Division has only secured the beach and is preparing to move into Philipsburg. Tigercat soldiers have a heavy presence in the area and intel suggests that Tigercat is moving armored vehicles into the area.

Suburbs - August 2nd 2010 - Dusk - The bloody victory at Philipsburg has provided the Third Marine Division with an FOB. With Marine and several Army vehicular units pouring onto the Island the Marines now have better support to fight Tigercat with. Today a group of marines has orders to take a nearby town. The Marines are supported by several light vehicles and intel suggests the presense of Tigercat armored vehicles.

Please no one criticize the plot of the mod, this is just a mod so do not take it too seriously. The idea for this mod was thought of long before I got into BF2, the mod plot stemed from a mission in Microsoft Flight Simulator X

Hey guys, this mod looks great but is there any chance of a F88 Austeyr being realesed in this mod?. its an upgrade of the the Styr aug which is mostly used by australian infantry and has been used for years by the australian army.

I think you should just give tigercats all eastern weapons, remove the acw-r on the demolition and replace it with the OTs-14 Groza and have the tigercats pistol be the Makarov pistol.

So the RPK-74 will have the drum mag in this?
Also, it's okay to have the same weapon for different infantry classes: it makes the armies seem more uniform.

A little suggestion, since you said you weren't sure what weapon to use for the USMC Automatic Rifleman, use the M249 SAW, maybe the Para or the PIP version for regular infantry, M249 SPW if you're planning on having MARSOC. For the Machine Gunner the choice is easy I guess, the M240G or B.
