It was time. The standard blue/white ipb skin started to look well lets put it that way "different" or not good enough for a revolutionary war mod :).
The new skin provides much more of the feeling of that timeperiod and era. Some small modifications have been made as well: There is a fast search box in the welcome panel and the number of smileys and emotions have been increased by around 500%. So if you don't have a forum account yet sign up now and meet like-minded people here
