Interesting decision to model this surcoat flap in front of his crotch as a single mesh instead of just texturing it. Isn't that harder to rig though?
I cant say how it is for the ranger's actual skl, but on Faramir's they turned out just fine.
Wasn't to difficult to rig actually, it was well placed so it doesn't clip as well.
Cool, so it looks good AND is easy to implement. Two thumbs up then. :D
Question : Will there be any variations on the Ranger Models ? And I feel that theircloak color its too dark, though they are pretty well done ;)
As this is purely a visual mod (to preserve intercompatibility), variations are sadly impossible, as they require coding changes.
Yeah the rangers definitely wont be varied like they are in SaF. That's part of why they'll be having a masked variation. The cloak is fine. It'll be house-colored anyhow.
Now that he mentioned it though...
I think he's right that the overall texture is a bit too desaturated. Wasn't Ithilien a lush green country after all? The Rangers might look a bit more interesting with some more vibrant colors.
Okay, the housecolors might add enough vibrance, but wouldn't it be better to just add them to their skirts and gambesons? I mean, a bright red cloak might possibly be the worst thing a Ranger could use to hide under... ;D

That's because it's not pure green. It's supposed to be a grey-green. You'll get your full variations and your green fix in SaF: I.imgur.com :P
Damn that is astonishing, the third line, last ranger, that kind of green I think fits better. Whatever though keep it up,can't wait to see the Dunedain mate ;)
