Ballistic Weapons replaces UT2004's wepaons with a batch of new, realistic, high quality weapons using an enhanced weapons sytem with reloading, aiming, firemodes, improved damage behaviour and much more to give the game a more tactical style. All the items have also been replaced and the mod uses totally original sounds and effects. The entire mod is implemented through a mutator so it is compatible with all gametypes and many different mods. It also comes with a melee mutator to play using only the melee weapons. Decent bot support has been included, allowing the bots to use all the new weapons. The mod has also been designed to be very mod friendly so as to serve as a base for other mods allowing most features and systems to be implemented using just the default properties of new weapons. A manual is included with the mod as well.

Description
The anticipated update to our popular Ballistic Weapons mod for UT2004. This includes a number of fixes, and best of all, 6 brand new weapons! This is also a comprehensive pack featuring many RuneStorm releases, such a JunkWar, Map packs, vehicles and even some music.
The much anticipated new version of our popular Ballistic Weapons modification for UT2004 is here at last! Included the the new update, are 6 brand new weapons, including: X4 Knife, MD24 Pistol, XMk5 SubMachinegun, M46 Combat Rifle, BORT-85 Grenade Pistol, and A500 Skrith Acid Gun.
Along with the new weapons, there are a number of fixes, such as:
-Force-to Walk in sights and scopes
-Quicker Iron-Sight time
-FP9 immediate detonation delay added
-Network client "high recoil" bug fixed
-Option to limit DoubleJumping
-New "Ballistic Regeneration" mutator that adds life-steal and health regeneration
-Widescreen scopes fixed
-Blood causing ugly squares on terrain fixedÂ

This update also comes as a sort of "complete" RuneStorm pack for UT2004, which, along with the new BW update, also features:
-JunkWar (all previous and a new update)
-Various RuneStorm maps
-Vehicles
-Music Pack

i would download, but something is seriously wrong atm, Ut2004, is giving me the bsod evarytime i run :O y u no work UT!?

Oh, forgot to ask one thing:
Do I need to take any action with the old version of BW and its bonus packs or can I just simply install 2.5 over it without problems?
Apparently it works alright if I just install it over the old stuff. Good thing!

I included an uninstall.bat file in case you need to remove any old files, or just want a fresh BW install. It only covers v2.0, v2.1, BP4 and v2.5 though, so i hope you have no versions prior to that :)
If you want to install 2.5 fresh, extract the batch file on it's own, run that (from the UT2004 directory) and then install 2.5 onto that :)

And i already installed v2.5 (extracted files in UT2004)
Goddamn, I love it.
Can anybody tell me how to get the Ballistic Vehicles to work? I add the mutator but the original vehicles remains the same. I really want to try those new vehicles.
The mod was awesome by the way.
As far as the vehicles go, they use the same model as the originals, but have different firing modes.
Just try to vehicles yourself instead of looking at them. I like the Scorpian one.

When I attempt to extract this to my UT2004 folder, Winrar gives the error(s):

Loads of the system/config files in this pack are empty ("0 bytes" in size).
What is going on with that ?
Are they supposed to overwrite the previous files, or is this a mistake?

Where did the BWBPRecolors go? Theyre not in this pack and cant play online without them.
