Back2Fronts is an extensive mod that will overhaul your Call of Duty 2 game to a next level. This mod brings more variety, intensity, realism and battle-like experience. Try new weapons, fight new enemies, fulfil new missions and explore new options. Mod is SP and MP friendly (although primary part is SP).
First screenshots from tests of scoped MP-44 and scoped Lee-Enfield. Scoped MP-44 is a new weapon entry (it doesn't replace any original weapon). Scoped Lee-Enfield has completely new model because the original one was historically incorrect plus it has "new" reload animation (round by round).
If Zeus didn't had lightnings, I know what weapon would he use :-)
Realy, that's epic, mate!
Yeah, nicely said my friend :-)
Btw, this weapon is quite a rare pickup. It is located just on post-1944 levels (so just Normandy so far).
It can happen that when playing a mission it will not appear at all. But if you play the mission once more you will find it :-)
Also, watch out fot the AI having this weapon - they are quite dangerous. When I tested this, a single German soldier armed with this weapon killed single-handedly some 20 US soldiers before they finally killed him...
The WW2 game developers seem to forget that they had other stuff beyond iron sights, very nice
YES! That's exactly what I think.
All game developpers say that WW2 is used all through and not interesting anymore.
But there are tons of things from WW2 that were not used at all or almost not at all in any game. And I am not talking just about weapons but also about war theatres, battles, vehicles, real stories (yeah!)...
can this weapon use the ammo from the unscoped mp44's?
No. Every weapon entry has its own ammo.
That's a problem of all CoD games. You can't make shared ammo pools because then the weapons starts to behave weird.
In all the Modern Warfare games there are weapons that share ammo, like the MP5 and M9, M4, M16 and G36C on COD4, M16 and M4 in MW2 and 3, and some more. And they dont act weird, all it does is when you swap an M4 for an M16 for example, you remain with the ammo you already had, and all that changes, naturally, is the amount of bullets in the mag. Also you can pick ammo for an M4 from an M16.
The problem with cod2 is that if you pickup 2 weapons with same ammo and then you change one of it - you loose all the ammo for the other one.
I am not gonna include shared ammo pools because of that.
Absolutely amazing work well done!
Thanks a lot! Congrats on the finished DOI's geometry - it looks absolutely briliant!
I have just wrote you a message about some ideas (and response to the waving flag problem). Could you check it out and tell me what you think?
i really hate that they made black ops 2, they should have made another ww2 cod that u can play in as italian, brit , yank, german, jap , etc. btw stunning work on the mp44
