Back2Fronts is an extensive mod that will overhaul your Call of Duty 2 game to a next level. This mod brings more variety, intensity, realism and battle-like experience. The Downtown Sniper contained quite a few problems. Firstly. Lt. Volsky had regular russian infantry model. Secondly, the Panzerschreck placed there was a late war type. I corrected both these errors - Volsky has his usual commissar look and Panzerschreck is the early type.
As a small bonus I took away the scoped Kar98k from the table and placed a DP-28 machine gun into a window nearby. It will come very handy against the counter attacks. But of course it is still possible to play the mission in the old style - using the sniper rifle.
Lt. Volsky has his usual appearance in this mission now.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, the last Russian mission will now be Leningrad (which is a great ending for the Russian campaign, with the epic final victory and the Soviet anthem being sung by all the soldiers, just epic).
But Lt. Dmitri Volsy doesn't appear in that mission anyway.
yes last russian map is leningrad which will take place in 1944 so it will have all latewar stuff.
You'd expect, since it's the Red Army, that the Russian officers would take part in the battles.
Also, ever thought about making a Maxim machine gun?

Yes, the Maxim M1910 machinegun is alredy in-game. It was available in the Spanish mod as well.
