Back to School is a full featured Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 campaign. The storyline is not interfere with none of this games and offer completly new setting of Borden city, struggling to survive in an epidemic apocalypse alongside with original 4 heroes. They are getting a chance to save themselves, since USA marines are coming in town and not falling back this time. But during the battle apogee something goes terribly wrong and local school - the most safe place in city - turns out to be a death trap.
Hello and welcome again! If you already forgot about Left 4 dead, we have whole 10 reason to come back!
Today we decided to make a list of all major features of our campaign. All of them are ready to play or complete for more than 50%, so no empty promises. We hope, you'll enjoy it.
SEVEN absolutely new maps in both Versus and Campaign modes! -Dip again into the familiar zombie apocalypse universe by Valve. Old heroes, old enemies - a completely new story and experience! We try to maintain and develop an incredible atmosphere created by Turtle Rock Studios for Left 4 Dead. Also we are planing to support the survival mode in the future.
A new "Marauder" game mode - Previously unseen new mode combines the best of both Scavenge and Survival modes. The special map, which can be started both for 4 and 8 persons, is available for this new mode.
New type of finale - exclusive and not non-linear campaign ending. You must work really hard in order to "escape" ...
Twelve brand new Panic Event! Each chapter contains two « Panic Event » (one - «Run and Gun» and other - "Hold the position"). Event type is chosen randomly each time, so every time you play, you get a new experience!
Non-linearity - we've very much tried to diverse gameplay in our campaign: the branching paths in the style of l4d2 (available in Chapters 1,3,4), variable Panic Events, random scenes, etc. You'll barelly see half of events during first gameplay session!
Dozens of new models and textures, both borrowed from the Valve games (Half-Life 2 and Episodes, Counter-Strike), and completely new made exclusively for our campaign.
"Cinematic physics" - you won't forget the massive destruction, which we made using this technology.
New mini-plots - lots of little stories about other survivors will help you even deeper plunge into the atmosphere of zombie apocalypse.
New Color Correction and particles systems - we use all the features of the engine to give the campaign a totally unique look.
Versus - perhaps it's our favorite mode of all, that's why we try to make it more interesting. Our motto: More difficult and interesting gameplay for the survivors! More freedom for infected!
