Bandits now fight each other image - And so it began: The Great War of Calradia mod for Mount & Blade: Warband
Hello and welcome to And so it Began. I have taken it upon myself to edit the continent of Calradia. Now, I hear you asking me, what is within this mod? Well, well, well. Massive troop tree upgrades to say the least, followed by new equipment (Weapons, armor, etc) and a whole sortie of new banners. Is that all, you ask? No. It is not. The mod is in its very early stages of development and as a one man team, massive features (such as diplomacy, freelancer, etc) will take time to implement. I can promise you now that this mod will not be a waste of your time and you may thoroughly enjoy what it offers in-game.
The bandits have split up and are experiencing in-fighting. Nordibites pillage the coasts and kill anything that moves (bar their Vaegir Allies), the Forest Bandits hunt raider parties with as much blood lust as they hunt peasants. The Mountain Bandits do the same. Deserters attack everyone to avoid re-conscription into an army. All the more fun for the player and it adds a unique twist to a war torn world.
For the record, they're attacking forest bandits. The font colour makes it damn near unreadable
