do we put it in machine of pigs folder or in dark descent folder? i think it's dark descent folder but it should be made clear in the instructions.
@queener You most likely put it into the Custom Stories folder.
No, you just put the London_files in the normal amnesia folder, not custom stories. Do not unpack the subfolders and it is made clear in the instructions.

Did you unpack the subfolders instead or installed it properly? Have you tried launching within the London_files folder or in the root Amnesia folder beside the Amnesia.exe file?
I tried both, but it seems not to work, by unpack what do you mean?
Your not supposed to unpack the subfolders. And by unpack I mean extract.
am i supposed to copy them into the root directory if i cant extract?
No, you should be able to extract it. Do you have any extraction programs like winrar?
yes i do. i extracted into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Amnesia The Dark Descent
and yet it still doesnt work. i clicked on the .bat file and it shows the command prompt for a split second then it goes away. im using windows 7
Is the steam client open in the background when you do this?

Open it before you launch the mod.
LiamWGamingWOF you can copy it or even extract it to another folder and then copy it to amnesia folder

Help!! When I create my custom story I do not save the maps, I go to the folder "maps" and there is nothing ;c

Have you updated your copy of Dark Descent, this error shows up for outdated versions of the base game? Are you using a retail or steam copy?

Hey, I'm not sure if you're still answering these, but I've installed both the mod and the patch into my Amnesia root folder (Not in the custom stories folder like you said), but whenever I click on the BAT file to rune the application a window pops ups for a brief second before vanishing and the game never opens. Please help, I really want to experience this mod. Thanks.
Is the .bat file in the London_files folder or in alongside the Amnesia.exe in the root folder?
