The Streets of London is a story that unfolds on the very same night as A Machine for Pigs.
John Morion, An Irish Immigrant who works at The Damson Templar, is leaving a local church after confessions and is about to start his night shift at the pub on New Year's Eve when a tremendous roar is heard throughout the city. Explosions and bells cry out and the still of the night is shattered by a thousand screams. Violence fills the streets of London and John is embroiled in the bloody turmoil. Above the din and the chaos, the ravings of some mad Engineer are heard, calling out to a man: a man named Oswald Mandus.
Compelled to search for this man in the hope that he can end the carnage, John begins a frenzied journey through the blood-soaked streets of London, ever downward... into The Machine. But something else has also emerged on to the streets of London, something unseen, something beyond comprehension.

Introduction: Hello folks, it's been almost a week since Amnesia: The Streets Of London has been released, it seems some of you have enjoyed it while others seem to be experiencing some issues with it, that will be discussed soon below but first I want to announce the release of the first patch for Streets Of London.
The Patch: The patch contains several fixes and updates.
- Updated Inventory GUI to fit the A Machine For Pigs aesthetic.
- Slightly reduced loading times for Streets Part 2 & 4.
- Changed Eugene's Diaries to regular Notes.
- Removed Tinderbox counter from some lamps that still had them.
- Added autosave at the start of hunt section of Streets Part 3.

The Streets Of London (Main Mod)
The Crashes: It seems that alot of people have been experiencing crashes in the mod, I'll go in depth in them. There are 2 unavoidable crashes that happen during the mod, one at the midway point and one at the start of the final act, these crashes were spotted in development but no solution or reasoning on why they were occurring was found, the best we could do was place an autosave moments before the crash happened. I recently examined with a person well-versed in the HPL2 engine, he said that not much can be done with it, the autosaves will have to do for now.
While some people managed to play through the game just fine(minus the two unavoidable crashes), some people have experienced crashes in unexpected areas of the mod, the graveyard scene in the mod seems to be the most common of these crashes. I also poured over this crash with the technician, several other people and they all agreed on one conclusion: This seems to be a problem with computers with weaker video cards, I have previously suggested to lower in-game settings or updating drivers in order to conquer this problem and to continue with the mod and it has seem to work with several people. I also recommend closing down background programs since they can drain the performance of the mod . I have tried some ideas to solve these crashes and hopefully the patch solves them. If not, let us know.

Just a heads up for those that care: KiraImmortal has kindly created a patch that fixes the infamous graveyard crash as well as the other crashing/loading issues suffered by the mod, I have given him permission to host his patch on here for anyone still interested in giving the mod a go but has always been held back by these crashes. Hopefulley this will do until the massive update I'm still working on comes out.
This mod seems really cool but unfortunately seems to be plagued with crashes and bugs. Im running on an rtx 3070 ti with 16 gigs of ram and it crashes frequently. also on the cutscene with the orb it will get stuck in that cutscene and not progress

for some reason my game just crashes in the loading screen of when the guy picks up the orb in the 2nd cutscene :/. any way to fix this?
Due to the poor organization of this server, there are conflicts of interest due to trifles - which mod will be on the first page and which will not. Amnesia's community is truly magical. We have here a certain group of people who elevate their own interests above the interests of others and, in order to force their mod to be at the top of the list, don't hesitate to provoke dramas, pit people against each other, persuade them to add positive karma in their favor, etc. Just try to think that you'll have a different opinion or join the opinion of someone who doesn't agree with these trolls. In this case, you get on the troll's blacklist and become the target of further attacks. I greet all my fans to the Czech Republic and Finland.
