After returning home from France, Ludwig finds his home empty. The warm welcome he expects upon arrival is instead replaced with a cold silence echoing in the great halls. Where has everyone vanished to? What horrors occurred during his brief absence?

Install:
Extract from .rar file and place main folder into "custom_stories" for "Amnesia: The Dark Descent". It is recommended to play using the Steam version of Amnesia in order to get the best experience, however non-Steam version will still play.
For players using the non-Steam version, Amnesia: Remodded can run the new OnUpdate functions, allowing for the best possible experience.

Changelog Note: Thank you for being patient with all these changes and updates. As you may know, Steam has ended support for Windows 7 and I currently cannot afford an upgrade at this time. So I made the decision to release Helena as complete as it could be with the intention of updating until Steam access is lost.

- fixed an issue with the sound doubling over in the underground house to the point of killing all but the ambient sounds
- Martin can no longer be spammed in the cellar
- the ladder in the prison is back to sounding like wood instead of metal
- added in some nasty green stink to the morgue, also morgue cough now deals far less physical damage to the player in favor of inflicting some sanity damage and Ludwig comments on the stench
- updated the end credits
- added messages to the pigs in the lab
- added a message to the broken valve in the sewer to avoid confusion on which valves need to be turned
- removed the gain sanity effect from the emergency sewer gate (sanity is still gained and at a higher amount)
- added slightly higher sanity loss to the barrel event in the attic, along with a response from Ludwig
- added a fix to prevent a softlock in the prison maze when picking up the prison orb shard
- added a message to the mirror above the bathtub in the living quarters map
- added potential fix for some music tracks not playing
- all levels doors in the underground house (except the chapel) now lock after completing the lab
- the graveyard has been substantially revised including a new puzzle for a more streamlined and fulfilling experience
- with the graveyard changing, the locked gate at the bottom of the torture area has been changed to a slide door
- adjusted [redacted] requirement ;)
- fixed issue where the first phonograph record would disappear in the bedrooms' phonograph case
- revised a portrait in the main house
- changed placed of and added light to the 16th note
- fixed a slightly blurriness that wouldn't go away after explosion

- chests with symbols are now locked open once their contents are collected to prevent players from forgetting if they were opened

- attic door should no longer lock after falling through the ceiling
- removed duplicate flashback from the graveyard
