There are cost-effective units made available to the Germanic, Western Celt, and other barbarian factions but they were not recruitable (except in the Custom battle mode). They are now available in the building tree.
This has major impact on the regional power balance, as well as your tactics on the battlefields against these units
Initial finances of the Western Celts are quite a challenge
You are right, it was not supposed to be playable faction from the Amazon TW 5.0 days, but since we made it playable, we should have a better scheme to keep it viable.
However, there are three unconventional ways.
First, the Western Celts are the only people with standing fighting wagon units at the start of campaign. The players of Western Celts can conceivably use such panzer force to conquer enough territory to feed its army.
Second, the Western Celts can go hording, by abandoning its provinces, it actually goes more powerful.
Third, the Western Celts can disband the units which are expensive, such that its territory would be able to sustain its army.
New Patch now including Eastern Celts changes
Amazing mod! One question , i already had an advanced game with the previous version, will I be able to continue with my loaded game having the new changes you applied in this new one?
Thank you for your kind words. The answer is it depends on the revision you used. If the old release has units renamed or consolidated, it will not work.
I had the 8.1 M i loaded my previus game with this 8.1 N and it worked i think.
8.1N has numerous unit changes, but nothing strategical.
However, if you look closer, there are now 7th revision in 8.1N.
