Do soldiers in reality also drop their magazines or do they keep them for refilling which would save money...

From what I read they keep the empty mags, because when they run out of ammo and a supply of ammo arrives its usualy just a ammo dump, thousands of loose bullets, so what they do is take the empty mags and put new rounds in. And new mags dont cost alot theyr very cheap.

And by the way everything looks awesome.

plus they keep their mags to make sure the enemy doesn't get and re-use them

This video would only be true in the instance of the belt-fed machine guns. The rounds are linked together and are distributed to the forces in the boxes already linked. The other mags for the assault rifles and pistols are dependent on how the situation is. You are trained to keep you mags, however, in the heat of battle you are thinking about putting more rounds down-range. You normally pick up the extra equipment (from both sides) once the combat has subsided. If you guys are intent on making this mod "real" then feel free to contact me as a resource. I served in the Marine Corps for 8 years and as a military civilian contractor security operations weapons specialist.

depends on the magazin, afaik stanag M16 mags wear out pretty fast cause of cheap material and manufacturing, so they drop it

Niiiceee!!!!!
But don't make them disappear so fast please. It'd be cool to chase an enemy by the mag trail :D

You do know those mags arent so chep that people just drop them, right? On other note do you lose the ammo left in the mag?

look at the above comments which say things like "this mod isnt about realism" and "new mags dont cost a lot" and "In the heat of a battle you are more thinking about sending more bullets downrange".
