Alpha Project is a Battlefield 2 modification which goals are to bring back all the features that were left out in the retail game. The gameplay style of the mod is a mixture of arcade and realism.

We are proud to finally anounce the upcoming URBAN WARFARE addon to alpha project, focusing on police forces versus terrorist in urban enviroments!
You will be able to choose one of your favorite faction to achieve your preferred mission, to fight the good or the bad :)

Guys, as developers of this mod, we will need your full support if we were to complete this ambitious project. We need ideas and even contributions that will help us to further implement new content, such as new weapons. We already plan on releasing the MP5K as a new weapon to be fully customized in our new class called the "Breacher". It will replace the engineer class and it will have some nice new equipment and will allow for vehicle customization. Ever wanted to add new weapons on a humvee? Now is your chance!

Oh! I know! A campaign mode!
You're a good cop in a corrupt town full of drug hustlers and general criminals. After a drug bust goes slightly bad you're teamed up with a new partner to take down a rising threat in the ghetto district. Except your partner is in on the whole operation, and you decide to start going vigilante on the whole... Oh, Battlefield Hardline did that already, and it sucked?
Well... I guess Alpha Project is going to have to do it better, like, over 9000 times better.

No, seriously (I'm probably thinking too ambitiously here, but what the heck).
New vehicles - SWAT vans, drivable civilian cars from which you can shoot through the windows, utes, construction vehicles (including the skip).
New settings - the heart of a skyscaper-filled 1st world city, the slums of India or favelas of Brazil, swamps of Florida, Paris, snowy Moscow, the streets of Mexico city, or the last remaining park in riot-ravaged Istanbul.
New weapons - TEC-9, TEC-22, P229R, Glock 17/19/20/other models, MP5K (as you noted before), Škorpion vz. 61, Uzi, MAC-11, MPA submachine gun (probably not), OTs-02 Kiparis, ENARM SMG, PDW-R, or other more typical weapons.
New players - no doubt you'd have to make new soldiers to suit the theme.

Yeah sure, those ideas are pretty solid. However, if it were EA that should answer that question, they would have bashed it and rather make a battlefield installment about ridiculous space marines and time travel with DLCs that allow you to customize your beard, all at the low price of $79,99.
I was wondering if you were about to make special forces expansion... turns out it'll be police forces.
