Allied Intent Xtended is the most feature rich single player experience there is for BF2. Building upon the great Allied Intent Mod, AIX aims to deliver an amazing array of content which is 100% bot compatible for use in single player and coop gamemodes. With a sea of multiplayer only or partial sp mods out there, AIX's main focus has always been about creating the best experience for SP that we possibly could. It's important to note that while AIX can be played in a multiplayer environment, the nature of this mod will make the conquest MP game modes unfairly balanced as things are created with bots in mind! Features: - 14 custom maps and 10 Dice remakes! - New UN Army! - 37 Custom weapons and 7 custom kit items! - 32 new aircraft! - Resupply crates! - Pickup kits and gun crates! - Enhanced AI strategies! - New Bot behaviours and full support for easy offline stats and awards in AIX 2.0!
The Battlefield 2 1.5 patch causes multiple things to break in Allied Intent Xtended 2. However, one of the AIX devs, Ti_GER arn354, has made a hotfix that should fix these problems when you are trying to play co-op.

The Battlefield 2 1.5 patch causes multiple things to break in Allied Intent Xtended 2. However, one of the AIX devs, Ti_GER arn354, has made a hotfix that should fix these problems when you are trying to play co-op. The changes are:
The deployable mortar has been disabled - any attempt to select it will result in the previous weapon being re-selected.
Under
BF2 1.5 online, no ammunition magazine may contain more than 1023
rounds. The AH-1X, A-10, A-10b, AH-64, AH-64 Gunship,Rooivalk, Yak-38
and Blizzard all broke this rule by varying degrees, but now have a
maximum of 1000 rounds in the offending magazines. A side-effect is that
the ammo-bar for an affected magazine will only fill up to the level
set by the new 1,000 round limit, and so may not look completely full.
Please read further information about it and download it here: Battlefieldsingleplayer.com
what about sp mode will it still run
Yes!
you deal with a lot of crap don't you :( i just want to say on behalf of all the people that can read, and search thru stuff before asking millions of Q's. we feel bad for you. dealing with noobs sucks :/
I still get lots of crashes running windows 7 x64, seems to crash a lot for me on loading and will bsod the whole computer.
That's not a problem with the mod, that's a problem with your BF2 Install or Hardware/OS. I run fine on Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
one thing about windows 7 - this applies to any older games, not just BF2/AIX - is to not use the default install path. make yourself a Games folder or similar and install your games in there instead, if you don't let it install into the 'Program Files' or 'Program Files (x86)' folders then hopefully your BF2-startup-crash troubles will disappear
ok im running on 1.5 and when i start the game it crashes and says StaticMesh.fx(2): error X1507 failed to open source file:mods/xpack/shaders/datatypes.ftx if you could help thank you
I have a working set of files that fixes the issues with BF2 patch 1.5,
I cant place any links at the moment, if you go to AIX website, click on forums, then find EASYJABBAZ AIX2 Patch 1.5, BF2 patch 1.5
When I try to load a map it crashes to desktop :C

Actually, it IS possible to use the M224 Mortar in BF2 patch v 1.50. Heres how to: go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\AIX2, then use Winrar/7Zip to open Objects_server>weapons>stationairy>m224_mortar, then open m224_mortar.tweak WITH NOTEPAD. Then, use CTRL+F and find "ObjectTemplate.createComponent SoldierBasedRecoilComp", and type a "rem" infront of it so it looks like "rem ObjectTemplate.createComponent SoldierBasedRecoilComp". Should be fixed now, and the game no longer CTD when using the mortar
