ON THE TOP LEFT, RIGHT CLICK ON THE "SoC" FOLDER, THEN CLICK DOWNLOAD. 4 OR 5 ZIP FILES WILL COMPRESS AND DOWNLOAD, THEN JUST EXTRACT ALL OF THEM INTO ONE PLACE AND YOU'RE SET! OPEN THE GAME AND PLAY THROUGH THE SoC\bin\XR_3DA.exe file!
THIS VANILLA+++ GODPACK CONTAINS ALL THE MOST UP-TO-DATE AND POPULAR MODS FOR SHADOW OF CHERNOBYL! CONTAINS EVERYTHING FROM TEXTURES, GUN MODELS, NPC HD MODELS, FIXED BUGS WITH ZRP, AND MANY AUDIO TWEAKS!
ONCE YOU START THE GAME, GO TO A BASEMENT INSIDE A HOUSE (WITH A LADDER GOING DOWN) AND MAKE SOME NOISE TO SEE THE AUDIO TWEAKS AND EFFECTS!
THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS PACK IN MY OPINION ARE THE MAJOR AUDIO TWEAKS. THE GAME NOW HAS FULLY WORKING HRTF, EAX (doesn't work on vanilla even if you activate it!!!), ECHO, REVERB AND MUCH HIGHER QUALITY AUDIO!

This mod for Shadow of Chernobyl is ready-to-play (just download this standalone and open the game) and fully set up, JUST DOWNLOAD, OPEN THE .EXE AND PLAY!
Only sensitivity and controls may need to be changed! Graphics settings are maxed out and the audio is already tweaked, you may only change the volume.
ALL CREDITS GO TO OTHER MODDERS, I DIDN'T CREATE ANY MOD, I JUST COMPILED EVERYTHING INTO A READY-TO-PLAY STANDALONE PACKAGE. THE ONLY THING I CAN TAKE CREDIT FOR ARE ALL THE SMALL TWEAKS I MADE.

yo i got few questions
1. can i play on my vanilla save?
2. this mod just changes textures, ai and bugs?
3. will i able to fix my guns?
I seem to be crashing when it is raining. Any fix?
I did find that sv_setweather clear in the console stops the rain, but if it starts in the middle of a firefight you are pretty screwed.

Hi, it crashes if you play in another language than Eng and Rus.
If you use another language, go to "gamedata/text/" and create a folder named by the 3 first letters of your language ("fra" for france - "ita" for italian - etc...) and copy/paste "ui_mm_efx.xml" from the mod (witch is contained in "gamedata/text/eng") to your new folder.
For creator : You need to copy "ui_mm_efx.xml" to "text/ita" + "text/fra" and others languages folders to avoid crashes... and people complaining too much xD ;)
Another question, is it ok for you if I add your mod to the retail of mod Complete2009 ? And crediting you of course ^^
(I'm talking about the "sound tweaks files")

Hello! Really sorry for the very late answer, hope you're doing well! Yes, thanks for the tutorial on changing the language. Will add it to the description now. Of course you can add the sound files! It's something I'd love people to know about, since almost no mods whatsoever use it for some reason. I tweaked and modded the hell out of those sound files to make them work and not crash!
Mods looks quite good but the crashes are sadly quite annoying. It crashes randomly and I haven't probably player for more than one hour without crash. The crashes seems to be related to invalid parent object. Excerpt from the logs:

Also it seems to be corelated with the performance/graphics. I tried to lower the graphic settings and on medium or lower settings I haven't experienced crashing. I did on higher.
I'm really sorry for the late reply, and thank you so much for all the info and files you shared. Yes, indeed it looks like it's related do graphic settings. Were you able to finish the game? I'm gonna try to fix those issues.
