Mod for AvP1? Looks like this was for AvP3! Oh wait, we can't mod AvP3! Great job man!
If we could, AvP3 would still be alive.
We could've used mod tools to fix what was broken (S.T.A.L.K.E.R. anyone?). Developers these days don't give a **** - all they look at is sales figures. By the time you realize the game is terrible and there's no way to mod/fix it, it's too late. They're laughing all the way to the bank.
The saddest part (for me, at least) is the SDK for AvP3 is very similar to the one I'm using for AvP Gold/Classic. You can see it in some youtube videos visiting Rebellion before the game was released. If the engines are similar, in theory I would have been able to port the entirety of AvP Classic to AvP3.
Yeah, I was making fun of the lack of support for AvP3. Maybe if companies these days looked at the success of companies like Valve/Blizzard, they could easily become rich and famous. Everybody wins when a company releases a quality game.
A chill just ran down my spine.
