first of all, thanks for making this awesome mod for the one and only AvP. I have slight problem with the fonts, in the loading screen and in the game. Every letter of every thing that is written in screen is inside a red square, white letter on a black background encircled by thin redline. Also I cant get rid of the green menu glow and the new background even with renaming the MenuBackground.bik.

The red outlines has to do with your video card's anti-aliasing settings. Open up the Nvidia or ATI control panel and create a profile for avp_classic.exe. What works best for me without any graphical distortions like what you mention is 16xQ Multisampling. Set it to override any application setting. I played around with this before and the Multi/Supersampling combo causes the most problems.

Renaming Menubackground.bik to Menubackground0.bik or anything else should work after starting the game at least once. After that the only time it doesn't is whenever the game is patched, and they haven't updated in over a year.
