Akthross Total War is a fantasy mod for Kingdoms that is based on the book A Tale of Akthross: The Seeker and the Mage. This excellent mod allows you to take part in the classic Good vs Evil fight. Playing as an "evil" faction will give you a completley different perspective of Akthross compared to a "good" faction. As a player of an "evil" faction you will have to capture a settlement known as The Heavens Gate which is at the heart of the "good" factions and protected by a Warden of the Gate. While playing as a "good" faction will require you to stop and drive the invading hordes far enough back to capture the settlements key to them!

Same problem here, it just opens the normal version of the M2TW game
No wonder people have installation issues because when you manually change the installion location, the "Akthross_1.1" folder does not create itself, like if you put installation in mods, it will be on mods folder lmao
ran the 2 programs in the mod folder but when I ran the medieval2.akthross_1.1.bat it opened directly in the MTW2 am i doing something wrong?

when the instalation comes you have to do it like this C:\games\Medieval 2 Total War Gold\mods\Akthross_1.1 ,in my case medieval 2 is installed in the games folder,point the folder to your medieval mods folder BUT it must have the akthross folder as well,if you still have trouble tell me the exact folder location of your medieval 2 game and i will tell you what to input in the installation
I did everything you instructed and the same problem continues, it opens directly in MTW2 and not in the MOD.
