Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.

Getting from there to here
It's been a long time
But my time is finally near
and i can feel the change in the wind right now
Is this is what has happened or what is happening? Cos this Mod has already blown my mind. I'd love to see some of the UI bits in Armada III, the ship/station overview when you've selected them is amazing
Stage One and Stage Two are completed. We're working on Stage Three now.
Armada 3 is complete and finished and we'll not be returning to that project I'm afraid.
Already in Stage 3??? Awesome!! Hard to believe that the next release is going to include a whole new, never-before-played faction in the Xindi!

Plus the Coalition, and a whole new Federation faction. Plus massively re-worked Klingon and Romulan factions. ;)
Basically everything in the re-release will be new, including the old stuff.
Well that looks impressive as hell. Coalition, Xendi, Federation, Klingon and Romulans. That's a nice spread of different factions and ships. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with when released.
Impressive, most impressive. Any chance of any dev live streams, i so miss the banter of you all, from Max attempting to explain what he's doing to then being interrupted by a Gul uncontrollably laughing at his own artwork.
We want to but honestly at the moment getting enough team members together with the time to commit to a stream is tough these days.
Streams will likely resume as we get closer to a release. Honestly we're looking forward to it, too.
Much more than a stream, I would LOVE some in-depth text posts here about all the bullet points in the image above.
If I may ask how many stages are there? Not to sound impatient I'm just curious.

You'll be able to play the Xindi when the 2.0 version of the mod is released.

Question - since I see that Sins:Re is coming in, is the new release integrating the E4X mod?
Star Wars Interregnum uses both as a backbone and the optional "companion" mods that go with E4X have completely changed Sins for me after all these years.
I absolutely love the "more tactical slots" and "max starbase upgrades" but especially the "expanded research" and "infinite research".
I feel like those things slow the game down a bit and add a new dimension to the gameplay with adding so much more research and defensive capabilities. And I think it would fit beautifully into a Star Trek game even better than Star Wars.
No this has nothing to do with E4X. It's purely the Sins: Remastered PBR shader improvements bundled with the mod. As a player you won't need to do anything differently, just download and run the mod as usual and the graphics improvements will run along with it.

im happy the next race is xindi i know yall teased it as tholians and that was a great tease cause i prefer xindi but now im wondering wat you are doing with the tholians
