Version 1.02 of Ages of the Federation truncated patch notes

Fix the carrier spam:

• Amended damage types to reduce AI reliance on Carrier and Long Range cruisers.
• Lowered siege damage on Carrier Cruisers.
• Increased siege damage on Siege Cruisers.
• Reduce number of shuttles fielded by each carrier.
• Redesign squadrons to have multiple shuttles instead of multiple squadrons of single shuttles to improve performance.
• All energy weapons can now target shuttles.

UI:

• Removed Tutorial menu as this doesn't work and was just confusing.
• Introduced a Credits page in place of the Tutorial menu for Developers, Contributors and Supporters.
• Fixed issue with Use System Cursor button in game options screen being missing.
• Fixed issue with Language Select in game options screen being missing.
• Fixed issue causing Galaxy Designer maps to instant defeat on game load.

Quality of Life Improvements:

• Updated the AI code to what we'll be using in v2.00 so less cheating and better experience in PVE.
• Implemented improved shipyard repair abilities with larger radius.
• Adjusted Kobayashi repair ability to allow the targeting of allies.
• All antimatter passive regen now upped to 0.25 instead of 0.
• All hull repair passive regen now upped to 0.25 instead of 0.
• Federation Surak Envoy now has correct warp effect.
• Klingon D5 Cruiser now has correct shield mesh.
• Klingon L5 Hunter Siege Frigate now has a bombing hardpoint.
• Klingon Disruption Satellite no longer has comedically large explosion effect on death.
• Removed stock particle effect from Wild Weasel Decoy abilities.

Version 1.01 of Ages of the Federation truncated patch notes

• Romulan Shield Bypass Resist in Culture tech now correctly resists instead of the opposite
• Fix to Medium Large map instant win bug
• Added construction ships to Minor Factions to allow them to rebuild destroyed structures
• Rebalanced titan stats
• Reworked the Xindi Probe Minor Faction abilities to be a single ability with multiple levels meaning the big probe will not be available in the
• Reordered Game Options screen in game setup to match stock button layout
• Added icons to build extractors when directly clicking on owned asteroids

Install Instructions:

Once you've downloaded the file, use the unzipper of your choice (we prefer and advocate 7Zip, but you might have something else and it should work correctly) to unpack the contents of your folder to My Documents - My Games - Ironclad Games - Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion - Mods-Rebellion 1.85 .

You should be prompted to overwrite the EnabledMods.txt . If you haven't, something's gone wrong!

You will be unzipping two items into the folder:

AOTF_T4YW_V1.02 and EnabledMods.txt. If you have unzipped a single folder called AOTF_T4YW_V1.02_EXTRACTME then your mod is in a container folder and you'll need to take both the aforementioned files OUT of that folder and put them into Mods-Rebellion 1.85 - I can't stress this enough, it's the primary cause of most people's inability to install the mod correctly.
