Description
A squadron of K-Wings scramble and climb towards a pair of CR-90m corvettes and a Ranger-class gunship.
The CR-90m is a variant of the standard CR-90 corvette designed to punch through enemy lines with its fast engines and target high value units like carriers and interdictors, escaping before it can be confronted by larger capital ships. It is buidable from Corellia and some Outer Rim worlds that use the ship in their defence forces.
The K-Wing is stategic bomber which fires slow-moving but devastating rockets. They are very effective against large capital ships, space stations and stationary targets. It is buildable on any New Republic world.
The Ranger is a new addition to the New Republic fleet designed to screen capital ships from fighter attack. It is a successor to the standard CR-90, IPV Or Lancer. It is buidable on any New Republic world.
Is the CR-90m based on the Modified Corvette from the X-Wing games?
I think it's actually a unique design - I don't believe it is canon. One thing I would like is a model of the 'Assassin Corvette' but I don't think one exists for FoC.

Yes definitely. B-Wings haven’t been altered, I’ve just given K-Wings a slower, more powerful rocket.
That said, in this era B-Wings and Star Destroyers will generally be on the same side!
