Welcome to the Age of Empires III Improvement Patch! This mod is an unlimited-population + better units mod. It lets you have unlimited outposts, town centers, ships, and settlers. Outposts cost A LOT less, and there are some over powered units. Pike-men are now useful, with a great 30 melee damage. An army of 50 of them will wipe out an enemy town without losing more then 10 men. This mod will work for Age of Empires III and both expansion packs. Frigates can hold as many troops as you want. Monitors long range attack will destroy anything in its path. This mod also includes: Custom names for ALL British and French ships 40 Cards in your Shipment deck Unlimited shipments with any card Unlimited Forts Unlimited Factories 15 fishing boats per whale 20 settlers per plantation and mill

Where it says Wall upgrades do you mean from the pailside to the stone walls?

Yes, the wooden walls upgraded to stone walls. I am sorry but I couldn't make the fort walls work.

I am working on wagons now. Every wagon (factory, outpost, covered, and fort) can train a special type of unit. Seeing how only the covered wagon can be trained - I will make a shipment in the first age that does not cost a whole shipment bar (It will take 1/2 of the shipment bar instead of the whole thing. You do require one shipment to send it)

The covered wagon can be trained at the arsenal, and possibly other buildings. I am thinking of changing the "Holy Roman Empire" shipment into the wagon shipment. It will ship 1 of each of the following wagons:
Fort Wagon (Can train musketeers and build fort)
Factory Wagon (Can train artillery and build factory)
Outpost Wagon (Can train hussars and build outpost)

The Covered Wagon can train the following:
Crossbowmen (Longbow men for the British)
Pikemen (or Spearmen)
Halberdiers (The unit who carries the halberd)
the Covered Wagon can still build the town center.

I don't remember off the top of my head if I added it in the last version, but the explorer can now build factories. He will be able to build forts as well. He will also be able to collect resources just like a settler.

I want to make it that you can place walls and gates on the trade route, but I am not sure how to do it. I want version 3.1 out sometime this week

That all sounds awesome and ive seen some mods that make gates buildable over trade routes along with fort walls and other things perhapes you could ask some help from them?

I might do fort walls in a future update. I want to play around with them first :)

I am also thinking of adding drummers and flag bearers for army vs army fights

Thanks! I actually contacted him about this. About 5 minutes before he replied, I found the answer on how to do it by looking at his mod. He also told me how to make it that the train does damage to all units. He will have credit in my mod :)

Hope you can get some help and I like the drummers and flag bearer units ive used them when im just messing around in mapeditor, if you can get those add think you could make the flags better by bearing the houses flag that they belong to?

I contacted the creator of the Improvement Mod (his name escapes me) and he told me how to do it. I think I might add fort walls, in the next week I will test it out.

As to drummers and flag bearers: if I had a choice in picking them or fort walls to work on, I would pick fort walls.

I am also thinking of changing the opening picture of TAD to the improvement patch logo

The update and the update before that is for every game (aoe3, TWC, and TAD)

I will mostly be doing things for TAD now because every empire is in it. I might go back to aoe3 original or even TWC eventually, but for now all updates will be for TAD

can you check the patch again . I found erros . when I patch it . when I start a new skimmit . It say that erros to work with some files . and then there is no ai , even from ally or enemy

Did you read the instructions in the readme?

Hopefully you made a backup of your game.

Open up the readme and read the instructions, if you are having more problems please provide me with screen shots

I am not 100% sure. (I don't have a mac, so I cant test it)

I do know that it is possible to mod the mac version. In your game folder, search for the "proto.xml" file. Put everything from the data folder into that area. Then go up one folder and place the rest of the files there.

BEWARE: I don't want to be accountable if this does not work. Please make a backup of your whole age of empires III folder before doing this!

This is an amazing mod, I just wanted to ask if you could fix a bug that hides the "Informers ability" button on a "Great Buddha" in the Japanese team which was really useful.

PS - The cards thing is still on 25 not 40 and the amount of villagers I can have on a farm is still 10, not sure if this is because I have AD but thats the only expansion I have, but the important things that I wanted like infinite people and infinite cards works so thanks!

As of now the Informers ability is broken. I am going to look over the files to try to find out what is going wrong.

When the next update finally comes out, mills and plantations will hold 20 settlers. Shipments should be unlimited (I think only the Chinese is the only one that doesn't have unlimited shipments)

The 40 card deck does not work in TAD, however there is an easy way to hack a deck and put 40 cards in it. If you want I will tell you how

If these steps are not clear, tell me and I will record doing it.

Create a new deck in the game, named "Add to [YourDeckHere] and add the cards you want added to your original deck. (You can have up to 10 per age, so 40 cards)
After that, close the game
Go to search (ctrl + f for windows 8) and type in sp_YOURCIVNAMEHERE_homecity.xml
Open that file
Find your orignial deck (it will go
<name>40 Deck</name>
<gameid>1</gameid>
<cards>) and then it will list your cards

Then scroll down until you find the extra deck you just created
Copy all of the
<card dbid ="CARDID">CARDNAME</card> that you want to add to your original deck
Go to the bottom of your original deck and paste the cards right before the ending lines:

</cards>
</deck>
<deck>

Sorry if this is not 100% clear, if you need help tell me and I will record doing it :)

IF not, could someone or u just add little tiny mod of ur mod which only contains unlimited pop cap + unlimited building, also explorer building stuff u tell there is not a bad idea. i wonder also is there bigger maps for this game?

Does this mod work only on Aoe 3 or does it also work on all the expansions
