Concentrating on the late medieval period, Age of Chivalry: Hegemony replaces or significantly alters each of the civilizations in the original game, while adding a number of new ones, allowing the player to control Central and Western European states. Many new units and technologies have been added and gameplay dynamics have been changed considerably in this complete overhaul of Age of Empires II.

Age of Chivalry: Hegemony is a total conversion mod for AoK:TC set in Western and Central Europe, 1200-1500. This version adds new architecture for the Italian factions, as well as numerous smaller changes. This download includes the full version.

For some reasom I cannot make this mod work for me, no mattere what I try.
Same here, it says something about files not being found when I run SetupAoC. Guess I'll just have to use an older version until this is ironed out.

You need to install Patch 1.0c for The Coqnueroes first, as is stated in the readme.

Any chance this works with the steam version? Has anyone got it to work?
Nope, not possible. The Steam version and this mod are fundamentally incompatible. It's a shame too because the Steam version has some really amazing looking texture mods. As far as mods go, for all intents and purposes the Steam version and original version are two different games.
