Advanced Warfare is a Sci-Fi mod for Red Alert 3, however, realistic gameplay elements, which does _NOT_ imply scientific correctness, like tanks taking more damage on the rear than on the front or the sides, or normal tank shots killing infantry on one shot. The story takes place around the year 2700 after earth. (In our years, that's around 5600.)
Tarions are subatomic particles with Imense electric charge, higher than that of a proton or an electron.
This is an AntiAir/Anti Orbital weapon btw.
Doesn't look capable of orbital/sub orbital range ._. Is it going to be as large as a proton collider?
No, as big as the Brighton beach coastal guns. But it is a particle cannon, those don't exactely have short range.
appart from the science...
it's quite good, I like the model. But where is the capture pad? Also, I'm not too sure how good the weapon will appear when pitching upwards...
As I said on the other comment, the control nodes are separate, and only scripted to give you control over certain buildings.
As for Science: I at least used fictional, non existant particles, so I have some room :P
Hence why I didn't start a page long lecture ;)
So when rigging the maps, you will place each building, and then place a separate capture pad building. Then using waypoint nodes, script it to change sides yes?
Yes, there is a script that gives the player controling the node control over the buildings, if that player looses control over the node, he also looses the building.
i think it will look great pitching upwards
and if its anti orbital it should randomly face up and shoot down satelites
like the russian thing xD
Anyway the gun looks awesome(and untextured).
Ooh man cannon, Shiny!
