A mini-mod that adds more historically accurate general portraits to the major campaign factions. This mod is ONLY compatible with, and REQUIRES a working copy of, Absolutum dominium (campaign models)
The year is 1755, and a generation has passed since the reign of great leaders like Louis XIV, Peter the Great, Nader Shah and Aurangzeb. Despite the uneasy peace which brought conflicts to an end, war is no more than a heartbeat away.
For Europe is a continent divided. Its many kings are hungry for greater power, each with ambitions – and methods – of their own. Eleven stand above all others... will they rally to each other's allies? Or carve a legacy for themselves that will echo through the ages? There will be treaties. There will be war. There will be turns of fortune that become the stuff of legend, in a saga that charts the rise and fall of great empires, in the first truly global war.
The Seven Years War DLC Pack takes you 50 years into the campaign of EMPIRE: TOTAL WAR, and features the historical struggle between empires, enabling players to engage in the conflict as one of eleven factions involved. Introducing over 150 new historical characters and playable faction leaders, the campaign begins in 1755, but you can choose to continue well into the 18th century, with legendary heroes from Frederick the Great, James Wolfe, Marquis de Montcalm to Suvorov and many more!
Playable factions:
Great Britain
France
Holy Roman Empire (Austria)
Prussia
Poland-Lithuania
Russia
Sweden
Spain
Hessen
Hanover
Saxony

All empires are born in the tempest of war. It is how they weather the storm that defines them.

Could you make the soldier within the line formation stand closer?
I always wanted a Seven Years War Mod. I just wish you would make all units have volley fire instead of fire by rank, they to me look better with volley fire. How are the Native American factions are they strong in melee like they were in real life and great at ambushes?
Fire by rank is the standard Seven Years War tactic. But not all factions have unlocked this tech at the beginning of campaign. Native American factions' stats remain vanilla.
Very nice this mod expansion! 😄
Will the campaign map also be changed? For example Milan under the control of the Holy Roman Empire, Savoy with Sardinia (better to rename it Kingdom of Sardinia), in southern Italy the emerging Kingdom of Naples and Sicily, the Caribbean islands disputed between France, Spain and England etc.
Also, will there be other playable factions in the future, such as Naples and the Ottoman Empire?
PS: I accidentally posted the same comment without logging into my account. 😅
Yes, the new campaign map will reflect the territorial changes of 1750 after the Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle, so the Holy Roman Empire (Austria) has control of Flanders & Milan. Prussia controls Silesia, Britain controls Gibraltar, Antigua, Newfoundland, New York, New England, Maine and Bengal while France controls Carnatica in southern India. Russia controls St Petersburg and Riga while the new faction Hessen (Kassel) replaced Westphalia. The only exception is Naples Sicily because they are still legally in a personal union under Spanish rule, so southern Italy is controlled by Spain.
Hello and thanks for the reply! 😃
For Naples I agree in part. If we talk about the wars of succession before 1740 - 1750 then yes, but during the Seven Years War the king Charles III, and the minister Bernando Tanucci, pushed and made a very important contribution to the rebirth of the Kingdom of Naples and Sicily in the political field, economic and cultural. It is no coincidence that the Kingdom of Naples was one of the most emerging states of the eighteenth century, obtaining various records as the first opening of the faculty of economics on the European continent. Moreover, just to understand the great detachment that existed between Spain and Naples, a new dynasty was created: the Bourbons of Naples. The connection with Spain had remained with Charles III, so much so that after the death of his half-brother Ferdinand VI he became king of Spain, but simply because it was the last solution left. The next king of Naples, Ferdinand IV, was really a "Neapolitan" king, so much so that it is said that he spoke to the people and the court only in the Neapolitan dialect. 🙂
Making emergent faction playable takes huge amount of work. Unfortunately my RL workload is increasingly heavier and schedule is tight, so for now Naples-Sicily can't make it to the final release. But I will take Naples-Sicily into consideration for all post-1750 mod(s).
Thanks again Sacrebleu for the answer!
I fully understand the difficulty, but I'm very happy that the Kingdom of Naples will be seen in future project! 😄
As always, if you need a hand on the info of the Italian factions, you can ask! 👍

Where is the download for this? I like your mods, just wish there was some kind of unit caps, makes no sense for small Factions to have all of these stacks and fleets everywhere. I had to add No-trails mod and a BSM mod, great job by the way.
The new Seven Years War DLC is scheduled for release within a week as I'm nearly finished with testing and debugging.
