what? it's going to be disabled :( That sucks for me because I only get to play for like an hour a day and we all know mount and blade so i'm basically going to die from one, in-game raiding parties and two, from the time it will take for me to actually get something good without the find item menu.
Gich165, you can make any desired sword/armour appear on the market for sale, using morghs tools. If you don't know what it is and how to use it, google it and watch a tutorial on youtube. It's really simple to use :).

How will you be able to get the sword now? Do you need to somehow kill Jon Snow or send him to the wall 😛 again......
In general are these the only 2 ways to get a character specific item?
There will be other ways. Produno is working on that :).
Maybe duelling with characters will allow you to get there equipment.

I really do hope like many others that these gorgeous items are easy to obtain. I know you removed the 'find item' from the cheatmenu for good reasons but it really does worry me coz I don't want to end up killing some of my favorite characters from the series just to obtain an item and I really do hope that there is another way around.
it was more than once sugested that reaching max affinity and then do something like win a duel with that character, he would then offer you the special item. This could be a nice way to get it withou having to kill or capture that character...and also not 'easy' like search in fin item menu

It was suggested...not sure if it is going to be implemented but it is the best way i see to be able to collect all special items without having to be against all factions...one could still role play and get all items through adfinity and the others by killing enemy lords

Seeing all of this stuff made means nothing, considering what he plans to remove. Time to go back to ACOK. This mod had such great potential.
All you do is come to these boards to cause trouble. If removing the 'find item' menu weeds out the trouble makers, then good riddance.

I personally liked the find item menu just cause I like having the cheats available. I don't know why people feel the need to ask the devs to remove it or force them to that point because if you don't like cheats then don't use them it's pretty simple. There shouldn't even be an argument about this sort of thing.

May i suggest something with the how-to-quickly obtain the new Longclaw Sword?
Use Morghs Item Editor and put the Longclaw in the market by ticking Merchandise Square Box.
Or...let it be seen somehow as your family heirloom (imaginative of course)
by putting it in your starting equipment.
