While AWAAP development is still paused, hope is at hands: "Bandits, coming in at eight o'clock high...break, break, break,........Gold Wing take those fighters, Natley and McArthur with me, we're going after the bombers....I'm going in on the leader.........got him! his starboard engine's burning up.....follow my lead men, tally ho!" ".......Damn it Gold Wing keep those fighters off us, I'm being torn to pieces......primary fuel lines been hit.....Jesus, keep them off me you bastards....those last two bombers aren't going to shoot themselves down....good God they've got the Bristol, her tanks have blown, she's going down!" A Wing And A Prayer is a total conversion for the Homeworld 2 engine, moving the action from space combat to early twentieth century aerial battles between a variety of fictional aircraft and airships, ranging from scout fighters up to ironclad super Zeppelins. Drawing on the style of games like "Crimson...

In other news I'm gradually updating the forum, adding old art that for one reason or another has now been dropped, and posting ideas for analysis and comment. Its not too late for new units to be included, if anyone has an idea for an aircraft and they fancy explaining the idea on the forum, or even sketching it out then go right ahead.
As ever the forum can be found here.

Not for some time I'm afraid Brahemino, but it should be released in stages so although you'll have to wait sometime before you can try it with all the planned units I'd hope to get a small release (maybe ten units for each side) finished alot sooner. Exactly how soon is anyones guess :P, it all depends on so many variables.

You have to be bold and say: This game will be release this fall...then you postpone it DNF-style and you will amass millions of fans. Women will want you for your fame and women will want you for your money. And women will want you.
You draw really nice now. Maybe you should think about investing in some artist pens, which have a nive ink flow and make your drawings a tick cooler. Od course that's a question of balance and pay and you gotta invest for those buddies. I always love your updates!

I use proffesional graphics pens actually, the finished effect is more down to the technique of the artist than the pen.
I'm not a big fan of the over stylized concept art with fat lines all over the place, my view is lines are just there to hold the colour in ;)

I know Mucha, never heard of Horta though.
Anyway last time I checked there was no 'right way' of going about art, sure you can do it the technically correct way, but even that dosen't always make good art. Thanks for the advice anyway, but I'm happy with the way the art for the mods going and its a bit late in the day to start changing the style.

hmm, if you already use them anyway, why not use them right? You can easily draw better shapes with these pens, especially your metal surfaces would look more like metal and less like...grey?
The fat outline is for a graffity like style. The fat outlines were first used by artists like A. Mucha or V. Horta in art nouveau. I like your style, too. It works well enough for all you want to show. So nevermind my comment, I'm just trying to help making become better. I won't succeed, but you can look at Mucha's work in any case. Got nothing to do with anything I wrote here, but it's breathtaking art.
