Obviously attempting to complete a project as large as this entirley in one go would be asking for trouble, even for a large, highly skilled team. Therefore AWAAP will be released in a series of staggered versions, starting with a relativley basic version 1 consisting of a few ships on each side, and building up with each following release to become the complete aerial warfare experience.

Version 1
Carrier Airship for each side
Resource Gatherer Aircraft for each side
Scout Aircraft for each side
Fighter Aircraft for each side
Fighter - Bomber Aircraft for each side
(Ten individual units in all)

Version 2
Destroyer Airships for each side
Flak Airships for each side
Bomber Airships for each side
Refinery airships for each side
Medium Bomber for each side
Interceptor for each side
(Twelve individual units in all)

Version 3
Grand Zeppelin/Royal blimp replaces Carrier as 'mothership'
Cruiser for each side
Carrier as buildable unit for each side
Interceptor for each side
Heavy Fighter for each side
Heavy Bomber for each side
(Twelve individual units in all)

Version 4
Gunship for each side
Rocket Gunship for each side
Battleship for each side
Weathership for each side
Lighting/Sunbeam airships for each side
Dreadnoughts for each side
Barrage Ballons for each side
(Fourteen individual units in all)

With this, you have a great way of balancing the units with each other.

thanks thats the plan :)
It may prove rather more complicated in practice though, I'm not sure quite how its all going to play out.
It'll probably just require some quite extensive testing to make sure each new release dosen't unbalance the entire mod.
